It's been a week since the incident with Hanabi and Soul Guardian. I haven't been able to meet Jarrel in my dreams. I guess the deal must be off. I woke up and head down to the bathroom. A nice hot bath is a good way to start my day before I leave my village.
"Morning sweetie." greet Dad, we cross paths when he was getting ready to head out with mom. Every weekend both of my parents will go on a date.
"Morning dad. Where are you guys going today?" I stop by the bathroom door.
"Hmm, the first stop is the shopping mall, and later the shopping mall again."
"Hahaha. Have fun!"
"You're going back tonight right?" Dad takes a look at his wristwatch.
"Yes but don't worry. Aoi-san will send me to the airport." I don't want to disturb their date day.
"We will be back before you go." Dad was still waiting for mom to come down.
"Okay, Dad. Thanks." I enter the bathroom and decided to take a quick shower before leaving the house. As for Hanabi, she decided to rest the entire day.
My scream burst out of me and I fell backward on the tiled floor when I found the mirror covered in blood. This time, the writing was different and fresh since the blood was dripping down.
'Hell is waiting for you.'
My hands trembled. It wasn't long before Dad came inside the bathroom and saw everything. Dad took a step backward and the color drained off his face.
"Oh, my God." he leaned in forward and took a sniff. "Its blood. Who's blood is this, Hikari?" Dad was quick to ask me real questions.
I rubbed my ass while getting off the floor. "I don't know and I can't take this joke anymore," I stated, grabbing a robe and wearing it. Last time, I wiped away what was written but this time I was going to do so.
Mom called the police straight, as she should've done. It wasn't my friends, I knew for sure now. If it was someone playing these games on me, then the police would find out about it.
The Police department sent two officers to my home, while I was still shaking with fear of what I had gone through again. This was a sick joke and whoever was playing it was insane.
"Did you see anyone?" asked the officer.
"No. I don't." I answered.
"Look if someone was in here I should have known better than them. I was waiting at my front door" explained Dad. Mom hugged my shaking body.
"How about you ma'am? Did you see anyone?" the officer asked me the same question to my mother.
"No, I didn't see anyone." says, mom.
"How long has this been happening?" asked the officer.
"This is the first time. We never do anything inappropriate things," explained Dad. Mom looked at me and tried to calm myself.
"Are you okay?" asked mom.
I shook my head, staring into a blank wall while more vexation fueled me. "I don't know, Mom."
This is absurd. Hanabi walked down from her room, hearing all the fuss that was going around.
"What's going on? A police car was in our front yard." Hanabi looked at us and blink her eyes a few times.
"Hanabi! Are you okay?" asked mom.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What happen?" She stepped down and the officer asked her a few questions.
After almost 45 minutes, the officers told us that they will keep a close watch on us. Just in case something takes place. Mom brought me a cup of hot chocolate drink.
"Hanabi, watch over your sister for me. I need to talk with your father." Mom leaves us in the living room and heads outside. Hanabi moves closer to me, she holds my hands.
"Nee-san, is there something you want to tell me?" She asked the same questions. She knew something is going on with me. I looked at her and tried to change the topic. But she's still waiting for my answers.
"Hanabi, I think I know who done this kind of sick joke." Hanabi looked surprised when I told her about the deal.
"The soul guardian? You telling me they're the ones who did this to you?"
"I think so. Look, you must never tell this to anyone."
"Are you insane? Did you make a deal? What will happen if you break off the contract?"
"I don't know."
"Nee-san, we need to find you a way! A way to break off the deal."
"We don't have any clue about this soul guardian. They don't exist in our world. Even granny has no clue and can't help us."
"Hikari, I think it's better if you stayed here with us for a while." Suggested Dad, as soon as he enter the living room with mom.
"But I have my classes." I replied.
"We could inform your university management and let them know about todays' incident." says Mom, she walked in and seat beside me.
"But mom.. Campbell is my dreams. I don't want to hold a semester just for silly prank like this. I've got this."
I don't want them to worried about me. This matter has nothing to do with them. It's best to keep as a secret. I looked at Hanabi, she wanted to tell my parents about this but she stayed silent.
"Are you sure?" asked Dad.
"Yes, dad. This is just a silly pranks. But whoever done it, I hope the officer able to catch them." I force a smile.
"Very well if that's what you decided. Get ready, we will sent you to tokyo." says, Dad with a sudden decision.
"Ha?" I'm stunned.
"Yes, you heard it right. We will sent you back to Tokyo together. Now packed up and we leave as soon as we can." Mom and Dad agreed to accompany me during my journey to Tokyo. I nodded and walked straight to room. After the bloody mirror, I don't take a bath. Hanabi followed me to my room.
"Nee-san.. You remembered the shop weird guy? You said you met him in Tokyo right? What is he know something about the soul Guardian? Maybe he could help you."
I forgotten about that man. My eyes lighten up when Hanabi remind me of him, if he could chase out the witch's curse. Maybe I still got a chance to break the deal.
"You're right! The weird guy. I forgot about him, maybe we still have a chance. Pack your things Hanabi, you're coming to Tokyo with me." I pushed Hanabi out from my room and I quickly pack up my things and getting ready to meet the mystery guy again.
