章節 37: Torture

Caroline was sipping on her tea and reading a book "my lady" the maid walked closer to her, a little scared of her "what is it?" she asks placing the cup on the table and looking at the book "there's news from the palace my lady," she says, Caroline looks up closer to her "and what is it?" Carl hasn't heard from Robert, since the day he threatened her and it's been days.

The maid tried her best to break the news to Carl not getting hurt but that can only be a dream "Lord, uh- " she stammers "tell me already" Carl demands.

"Lord was forced to show his true form, and- " Carl gaped listening "what more?" she asks, waiting patiently not jumping to conclusions "he used all his powers to save the lady from the demons who used her body as their residence" Caroline couldn't understand a single thing, she moved a little and stumbled on her feet and vanished in thin air.
