Yellow Eyes drags in a man by one arm, pulling with all his might. The man is massive, almost twice the weight of Yellow Eyes. The mere fact that the guy can pull the man in by himself is a testament to his strength.

The rest of his posse trail in after him, all sweating and blood covered. Whether that blood is theirs or someone else’s, I can’t tell. I gag thinking of it.

They make a trail of the scarlet liquid as they walk in, making me feel really sorry for whoever cleans the floors. Who knows? Might be me.

Nicolas stands when he spots the group coming in.

“Ray! I was just thinking of you! And what have you brought for me today?” he asks, hands clasped in front of him and a wicked smile growing across his face.

“This,” Yellow Eyes says and drops the bloody arm on the ground, “is the witch's husband.” He wipes a bloody hand on his trousers, leaving a nasty stain.
