"Did I say something wrong? Why are you all silent?" he asked as he approached the different cells while his curious gaze scanned his surroundings.
Most of the prisoners looked at him with a look of skepticism and distrust at his sudden arrival. While others ignored him completely, as if they were not the least bit interested in his proposal.

Honestly while a simple fruit it is still immensely effective especially when combined with Haki or something like Rokushiki i could honestly see someone with this fruit being able to compete with top tier fighters
He was taking a look at the non-canon devil fruit and this one is really good. It increases the speed, strength and size of itself or objects it touches up to 100 times!
He understand that in the hands of an incompetent fighter this fruit would not be outstanding, but couldn't one still become a giant?
If the average person can lift 30 or even 20 kilograms, multiply that by 100 and you can lift about 2,000 with one arm. In the movie, BDW (byrnndi world) kept up with Luffy's gear 2 at only 10x. How fast would someone like Garp or even someone stronger be with this 100x fruit!
Also the size factor. I think whole giants are about 12 meters (or about 40 feet) tall. If you were 6 feet tall and made 100x your height, wouldn't you be almost 575 feet tall? Even numbers around 70 feet tall would not be half your height either.
The user can also throw rocks, increase in size and speed, to make it an extremely lethal weapon. Not to mention the utility.
All in all, this fruit has crazy combat potential.
