Chapter - 13: One Piece Part - 4

*Applause* *Applause* *Applause*
But once one person noticed, more and more people began to notice, and soon the party became silent. Well... Not completely silent. It took Luffy a few moments to realize that he was the only one still shouting and still eating.
A hooded figure in strange clothes had approached them all without their noticing and alarmed the entire crew except their captain who did not seem at all concerned.
"Who are you?" asked Luffy, continuing to fill his stomach as his comrades got into fighting stances ready to intervene in case of danger.
"Me?" asked the figure pointing to himself with obvious amusement, "You can call me.... Mhm, Ion. Pft yes, you can all call me Ion as to why I am here and rather simple I came to thank you Monkey D. Luffy."
Taking seriously. The hooded man, Ion is happily talking, to the crew with no obvious intention to follow through with some kind of attack or something like that
Luffy tilted his head with obvious confusion, "Thank me?" asked the future pirate king with obvious confusion.
The newcomer stood still for a few seconds as a smile formed on his face. Luffy did not know what had happened, but he could feel his aura change. As his danger level increased several times. He couldn't move, and also he could feel the wind getting sharper.
And before the incredulous eyes of the entire crew. The hooded man raised his right hand as purple sparks of electricity began to dance on his fingers and palm, "You understand, don't you? I have taken the power of that proclaimed god...."
Before he could say more, there were several reactions from the crew. The trio of cowards looked confused, Zoro and Sanji seemed disinterested, Luffy clearly had no idea what he was talking about, and Robin had the most violent reaction, "IMPOSSIBLE!"
Ion nodded at what Robin said, but confirmed again "Perhaps for you who do not yet understand this world. But for a being like me, a mere spectator the rules are made to be broken and I stole Enel's devil fruit.... After all, it was a bit of a waste to leave it in his hands, don't you think?"
Instantly, everyone was shocked. Except for Robin, she squinted suspiciously at him. She was smarter than most people and knew that there was no way to permanently remove someone's Devil Fruit power.
Devil Fruit could only be suppressed by certain things and lost to death. What he said made no sense.
He could feel Robin's negativity, so he turned to look at her and nodded his head, making her shake a little to his amusement.
Since when was he so sadistic? Was he to blame for approaching his full Oni transformation? Seeing in his state his percentage was growing faster and faster, perhaps because he had devoured Enel's soul....
*Mhm* Definitely very interesting, but now he had to concentrate and it was better to keep these thoughts for later, now I had to concentrate on showing myself a little more to his new 'friends'.
To follow his words, he concentrated the lightning in his hands and focused it into a small ball. Getting the Goro Goro no Mi, he gave him some information on how to use it, he could do anything he wanted from the fight as long as he understood how to do it himself.
In this case, he gathered a pile of lightning in his palm like a crackling ball of intense heat and sent it flying upward. Suddenly, giant lightning began to form around him, as if he were a lightning god.
For obvious reasons, everyone was shocked into absolute silence. It did not last long until a great noise was heard. Exclamations of shock, astonishment, excitement, fear, and so on.
Ion used his new power and remained silent waiting for everyone to calm down. The first to speak was Luffy: "So now you have the power of the Enel?"
He nodded, "Yes, although it will take me some time to get used to it and use it like him." He smiled at Luffy, as if he were an old friend "I'm sure it took you some time to learn how to use your skills, too."
Luffy and Robin nodded with some hesitation. They had both gone through the process of learning how to use their Devil Fruits, although both were still as far from using their fruit powers as they would be in a few years.
In the meantime that the Ion was talking, a person tried to sneakily attack him from behind to try to subdue him. To look for the unexpected new enemy that had appeared soon after their beloved Skypiea was finally free....
The Ion appeared distracted, looking straight ahead and standing still. So Gan Fall approached through his blind spot at the back of his head, but was stopped as if he had received an invisible fist.
Then Ion reaches out and pulls Gan Fall toward him and grabs him by the head. But after a few seconds he drops him to the ground, and Gan Fall no longer moves....
*Well* "I honestly did not expect your intervention old man, you almost caught me off guard," Ion said with a shrug "Do you hate Enel's power so much? What a petty mentality for someone who has done nothing but watch his people submit to another without doing anything to stop it, you are a disappointment as a ruler..."
"Old man!" shouted Luffy, ready to start another fight without even waiting a second.
But to the captain's misfortune, someone from his crew had made a move with truly frightening speed and efficiency "Oni Giri!" shouted Zoro.
But Ion did not seem at all concerned about the unexpected attack, remaining in his position with a simple smile "Oh, if it isn't my favorite character, let's see what you can do."
Zoro frowned as he listened to his words, but he did not stop his attack instead he put even more force by parting his body with ease... Before he realized his mistake.
"Have you perhaps forgotten what happened with Enel?" said Ion as his lightning body slowly reformed "And I thought you were smart..."
Zoro was a little stunned seeing the scene in front of him, but he quickly recovered ready to attack again and try to hurt the enemy in front of him.
*Boom!*
But before Zoro could even think of doing so, he was crushed to the ground by a giant fire hand with black claws that had come out of nowhere, but if you paid attention you could see a small fire creature above the group of pirates.
"I am sorry that, unlike me, my friend here does not take provocation well," Ion said, pointing to the fire creature. "And very overprotective of me."
"Now why don't we all calm down I didn't come to fight. After all if I really wanted to you'd all be dead by now.... As for the old man and he only passsed out, after all I am not a person who kills on a whim."
Ion couldn't help but say with a wide smile, "Oh, you don't seriously think you can take me on.... Just because you might be able to stand up to Enel when he had this Devil Fruit just to make a good impression, lol. You couldn't do that before I had it, now you don't stand a chance."
Luffy seemed a bit displeased with this, but like a typical shonen protagonist, he was not insulted or discouraged. Instead, there was a bright fire in his eyes and a desire to fight.
Then the Ion looked at Zoro and Sanji, the other two main fighters of the crew, "As for you two, you won't even be able to scratch me until you learn at least some Armament Haki..."
"Haki?" x3
"Oops... I said too much," Ion said, "Anyway, that's enough for today.... I just came to get acquainted and I ended up doing more than expected" he said as several lightning bolts appeared on his body like armor.
"All right Spirit of Fire we are done, thank you for your help," said Ion. As the small fire creature released Zoro and brought his size back to normal and sat on his head as if it was his favorite place.
"see you at Enies Lobby..." concluded Ion before disappearing with a trail of lightning. The group was confused by those last words, except for one person in particular who was still trying to understand the full meaning of his words.
Meanwhile, our protagonist was moving at a speed faster than the speed of sound, falling out of the white sea and heading for his next destination.
