Chapter - 12: One Piece - Part 3

The Maxim ship flew through the ominous cloud-covered sky emitting tiny sparks of electricity, one could see the surrounding white sea completely annihilated, along with all the sea beasts that inhabited it.

If anyone had witnessed such a spectacle, they would undoubtedly have said it was the work of a god's power!

But in truth it was only Kazuya who was testing his new powers obtained from the devil fruit. He had noticed that his power had increased by a wide margin after obtaining the Goro Goro no Mi *Well* now he could be classified as lightning-human was really a completely different league from before...

He could understand why Enel had a God complex, as they say when you get power your true human nature fully shows itself.

As for propulsion, he could easily make some simple electromagnetic motors as long as he got his hands on some copper. Perhaps he could also get his hands on rare-earth magnets, which would make the process much easier.

They were not strictly necessary though... As Kazuya pondered the power systems of his future ship, the Arc Maxim approached the road. The place was deserted, but he could see that the milky road had just been made and led from the White Sea to Skypeia. It seemed that all the residents of Angel Island had already gone back up.

This was good news for him. To begin with, he grabbed Enel by the ankle with his left hand and without any hesitation threw him into the white sea with the obvious intention of feeding him to the sea beasts.

After all, Enel was no longer important to his plans, especially he did not want anyone to find out that his heart had disappeared so as not to "reveal" how he had managed to seize his power....

He had a few things left to do in the sky island. And after a moment, the Maxim Ark disappeared from view as it turned into a card. At the same time, Kazuya began to fall into the now empty air. He reacted quickly as he transformed the lower part of his body into lightning and to run toward the milky road.

Running along the milky road was boring, so Kazuya opened his inventory with a bright smile. Sitting in one of the slots was the entire Arc Maxim. Before trying to store it, he had no idea whether he could do it or not. Either way, but this way saved him a lot of time.

One way or another, he would not have left a single piece of gold from the ship. By being able to take the whole ship, he would have saved himself a lot of trouble.

When he reached the center of the milky way, Kazuya let out a groan. He could already feel a group of people within range of his 'sonar'; but not only that, thanks to Enel he had discovered how to use the Haki and now his body was gradually adapting, and he felt that once he finished assimilating Cole and left this world, he would have a strength to be reckoned with.

A range of fourteen miles was nothing to joke about. Even in its passive mode alone, with the help of its "sonar," it probably had the longest range for the Haki of observation of anyone. As he continued to follow the road, more and more people came into his range. He was forced to concentrate on ignoring the excess information he did not need.

He spent the last half of the journey focusing only on reducing his sensitivity to non-threatening things. He did not want to ignore everything, which could come back to bite him in the later. Instead, he focused on trying to ignore the "positive" and keep the "negative." Anyone attacking him should, theoretically, appear as a "negative" in his senses. As he concentrated, he managed to filter out more and more information.

Soon he perceived only people with negative emotions. Although the victory against Enel and Skypiea had been saved from destruction, an entire city had been destroyed. Some people had lost everything when it happened and were mourning their losses.

However, when he reached the end of the Milky Way and could see the fleet of ships on which the Skypians had fled, he already had moderate control over his Haki Observation

Although he had to keep his concentration on it. If he slipped, the excess information would pour into his mind once again. With so many people nearby it would become painful.

As he approached the ship, he began to hear some interesting information. Kazuya couldn't help but give a small smile and without a moment's hesitation disappeared with a speed that "outpaced" light with some remaining small sparks of electricity in his wake.

And he appeared in the place after a few minutes with small bag in his hands that contained different kinds of shellfish.... They were Dials, which would come in handy in the future for some of his plans.

Dials are strange and mysterious devices that have the ability to store energy and matter. They are made from the remains of particular shellfish. The remains of crustaceans are collected in the shallow waters near the shore of the White Sea.

Kazuya concentrated on ignoring other noises, it was really not good for him to know everything even the private ones.... He hadn't noticed it before, but his hearing had become exceptional. He could hear all the conversations people were having all at the same time. He couldn't wait to leave the island and reach the empty sea!

When he reached the upper courtyard, he easily identified where everyone else would be. There was a huge bonfire in the forest sending up a giant cloud of smoke that screamed "we are here!"

He was able to feel the excitement and joy of the victory party from before he landed and the closer he got, the stronger he became. Especially the straw hat crew, he was clearly having the time of his life with the party.

And he heads into the large clearing filled with a mixture of Skypians and Shandians. Technically people of the same race. When he first entered the clearing, no one noticed him.

As soon as he arrived in the upper courtyard land, he jumped on the solid ground and unceremoniously approached them unnoticed thanks to a small electromagnetic field that weakened his electrical signals to attenuate his presence.

He was really getting the hang of his new powers, He just lacked more control to do some very interesting techniques that would shock the world.

It was time for him to make his entrance and show off a little, just to leave a strong memory of him. After all, there was a chance that they would meet many times in the future, and it would be annoying if they attacked him.

In particular, his next destination coincided with the route the crew would take, so he wanted them to think twice before getting in his way, because he could kill them all if they became too annoying.
