After dealing with the Rossi father and son, Alex went back to his guarding duties. As he was doing his usual thing of making sure the area were Alisa was staying and going to was secure, he started thinking about the level of the three B-rank mercs.

If he weren't there they would have lost against the bodyguards of the Rossi family. Not only did they have a disadvantage in numbers, but there was one person there that they wouldn't be able to beat even if all of them came at him together. 

The A-rank merc Hektor was someone way above their current level. Even though Alex defeated the other party quite easily yesterday it was due to a number of factors. Hektor had underestimated Alex and could not gauge his skill, Hektor was caught by surprise, and Alex's decisive movement left Hektor unable to counter.
