章節 97: Looking around

Alex had slept for ten hours, it was now dark outside when he woke up. Alex then stood up and did some stretches. He then closed his eyes and tried to feel the current status of his body.

It was as he expected even for him that battle had damaged him to a great degree. The muscles in his body were sore many of his bones were broken, especially the ribs that had been hit several times in the battle. It would take quite some time for his injuries to heal at an acceptable level so that he could do his job properly. 

Alex could only sigh, when he was done checking his body, he finally noticed that there was someone outside his room. He could hear the footsteps going back and forth and would stop for a second in front of his door, then the person on the other side of the door, after what seemed like he or she was hesitating on coming in would continue to pace back and forth again.
