Or at least that was what he planned to do, but now he had changed his mind. He wanted to defeat Nagasawa when he was at his strongest, making Nagasawa feel despair.

Madara waved his hand, and two Truth-Seeking Balls sped toward Nagasawa, expanding in size on their way.

Nagasawa's immense power pushed Madara back over ten meters and then he swiftly jumped, evading the approaching Truth-Seeking Balls.
"Six Blazing Formation!" Nagasawa came up with a random name and threw six small sticks composed of golden flames in six different directions.
Just by the name, you could tell it was an imitation of some Ninjutsu, but that didn't really matter as long as it was practical.
The six golden sticks was inserted into the ground, instantly forming six curtains of flames that trapped everything inside.
Nagasawa's next technique was too powerful. If he didn't set up a barrier, his attack could potentially wipe out the entire Allied Shinobi Forces.
"Flame of Heaven!" Nagasawa raised his sword high, and a massive golden flame rose around him. Golden flame constantly gathered around the sword and then continuously compressed.
That process kept repeating, forming a small ball composed of golden flames at the tip of the sword.
"Oh no!" When Nagasawa was using the Barrier Technique, Madara suddenly felt something was amiss. He quickly used Truth-Seeking Balls to attack the curtain of flames.
But if the curtain of flames could be easily broken, Nagasawa wouldn't have wasted time on that.
Boom!
A massive explosion occurred as the Truth-Seeking Balls attacked the curtain of flame. A massive chunk of land disappeared under the overwhelming force of Truth-Seeking Balls.
However, the curtain of flames, which was the target of the attack, only shook a little and showed no signs of being broken.
Madara acted decisively. Since he couldn't break through the barrier, he attacked Nagasawa, who was concentrating power.
