«No!» she exclaimed. «Why are you saying this?»

«Because you're acting out of character. You weren't like this before.»

Her face became blank as she wondered what was wrong with her. She had become more daring after reading all those books but... Maybe she had made some grave mistake.

«I learned a lot this weekend,» she said. «That's why I'm acting different.»

She moved her hands away from his shoulder and sat back.

«About?»

«About romance.»

«I see,» he chuckled. In what kind of romance book would the heroine put her hands on the male lead just like that? He was curious about what kind of books she read, but it wasn't the right moment to ask.
