I hollered for Wednesday to get in the car as we had to go. I watched as she quickly grabbed a few more guns before jumping in the passenger seat. The backseat was already filled with a pile of guns, and I could see Wednesday add the loaded guns to the stack.
I took one last look at the warehouse before starting the car and driving towards the unopened doors. I felt a twinge of nostalgia in my chest as I drove, knowing that this might very well be the last time I see the place. The Gates were no longer controlled by Jarvis since the Arc reactor had been removed so the Gates did nit automatically open.
The car approached the gates quickly and before I knew it, we were crashing through them and out into the world. The winds were so strong that they drowned out all other sounds as we made our escape.
The sand was so thick that I could hardly see anything in front of me along with water wetting the Glass making it harder to see. I knew I needed to get out of here fast before the secondary Tornado hits and possibly destroys the warehouse. Even though the storm was still five minutes away, I could already feel the car moving slightly due to the strong winds.
I cast one final glance at the warehouse before turning my attention to the car's screen.
I asked Jarvis to find the safest route away from the storm.
Jarvis responded quickly, "Yes sir, calculating... calculation complete."
A map appeared on the car's screen, showing me the safe path out of the reach of the storm and towards Grandpa Jay's house.
Despite the limited visibility, I started driving the car around the warehouse, starting at a slow pace.
Once I felt more comfortable driving with such strong winds and low visiblity, I pushed down on the gas pedal, feeling the Gforce act upon my body as the car launched forward. The sound of the engine filled my ears, drowning out all other thoughts. I had complete trust in Jarvis, to guide me to my destination. I just had to focus on driving.
The wind was howling around me, making it nearly impossible to see. I drove blindly for a few minutes with only the sensors around the Car as a guide and the Gps provided by Jarvis, my heart pounding in my chest. But slowly, the water and the sand began to ease up and I could finally see the road slightly ahead of me. It was a dirt road, and I felt the car bump and jostle as it ever so slightly drove over the rough road with ease.
I was relieved to find that it was a dirt road, which meant I wouldn't have to worry about other cars. My mind was elsewhere however, thinking about my warehouse and what was happening to it.
"Jarvis, give me an update on the Warehouse," I said, my voice laced with worry. I needed to know what was happening to the place I had put so much time and effort into.
Jarvis's voice came through the speaker, sounding calm and collected. "The outer walls of the Warehouse are flying off, sir. I can't observe any further due to the lack of energy from the missing Arc reactor." I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach. The Warehouse was falling apart, and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
I let out a sigh, feeling the weight of the situation settle on my shoulders. I had spent so much time and effort on that Warehouse, and now it was falling apart.
I had spent quiet a lot of time in that Warehouse, That was the place I built my Atc Reator by hand, the first time I ever did such Handiwork in my life , and now it was most likely going to be completely destroyed. The thought was devastating.
But what was even more strange was that there had been no warning of this storm. It was as if it had appeared out of nowhere.
I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about the whole situation.
I turn to the screen and asked, "Jarvis, can you show me where this tornado formed? I can't believe that no one noticed its creation."
As I drove with restricted visibility, the silence in the car is only broken by the sound of the engine and the occasional beep from the GPS and the Heavy winds outside hitting the car with Sand and water causing clattering and splashes outside. I start to get worried as Jarvis's response is taking much longer than usual.
Jarvis finally responds, "Sir, the tornado seems to have formed in the Pacific Ocean. I've located a recording from the shore that captured the moment it was first sighted and it seemed to have started as a whirlpool."
The screen flickers and the Gps is put at the corner of the screen, showing a video of a beach on the whole screen, It's obvious that the person filming had started recording as soon as they saw the whirlpool.
The video shows a crowded beach, with people of all ages filming the massive whirlpool that has formed just off the shore. It's a surreal sight, with even a few pets in tow. I can't help but be surprised by the presence of a cat, as they usually avoid water at all costs.
Despite the odd sight of the pets on the beach, I quickly refocus my attention back to the whirlpool.
I'm eager to see how it transforms into the massive tornado that has been causing so much chaos.
At first, the people on the beach seem unfazed by the whirlpool. They felt safe on land and believed that the whirlpool is contained to only the water.
As the waves grew more intense, the people at the beach slowly backed away, not feeling threatened just yet. But as the whirlpool grew, becoming more and more dangerous, they started to realize that their perceived safety was only an illusion. The whirlpool rose into the air, connecting with the dark, cloudy sky above, which only added to the unnatural feeling of the situation. The whirlpool, now a tornado, was moving straight towards the beach, causing panic among the onlookers.
