What kind of technique was that? It was so powerful and abrupt that it actually suddenly sucked a huge amount of energy from his body and then transformed it into air packets creating a powerful wave.
Luckily he was fast enough to control his strength if not… then this whole manor of his would suddenly be turned into ruins.
"What a scary brat…" he muttered while frowning deeply.
"You two…" he pointed at the female disciples kneeling on the ground with fear in their eyes.
"From now on… no one should know this secret. This should not be exposed no matter what, do you both understand?" he said with a stern voice.
The two female disciples nodded their heads.
He then waves his hand to dismiss them.
"What do you mean by that senior?" the silver-crowned woman asked with a deep frown as she walked beside the silver-haired man.
"Junior Nayeon… You know the dangers inside the sect, right?" he asked while showing a mysterious gaze at her.
The woman wearing the silver crown nodded her head.
She knew what he is talking about.
The silver-haired man is Elder Beom Gill, one of the elders of the Urokai sect and is already a tri-element law realm master. He is already 210 years old and one of the oldest elders of the sect.
The woman with the silver crown is Elder Sung Nayeon. She is also a tri-element law realm master but has reached such a realm at the young age of 80.
Each cultivator has a long lifespan as long as they are able to break through to the elements realm. Yet before that, they have a lifespan of a normal human being.
The two met when Elder Sung enters the sect.
Elder Beom is a man of principle and has been directing her through her cultivation journey. In fact, at first, she calls him her master. But after she reached the tri-element law realm of water, earth, and wind, he told her to just call him her senior.
As the two were discussing this topic, Hyuna on the other hand is feeling a bit grumpy.
The reason for this is because… Il Kwan has not visited her today when he told her yesterday afternoon that they should go to the back mountain as she needed to gather some wood and wild vegetables for cooking.
But who would have known that it was already noon and the guy has not yet arrived?
"He is lucky that he did not have to eat anything… he can even survive without eating something for the whole week… But I am a mere mortal…" she grumbled as she kicks some of the pebbles on the ground.
Suddenly, she heard some footsteps and showed an excited expression on her face.
But when she saw that it was three tall young men talking to each other passing by, she pouted as her excitement was doused.
"Hey, little junior… Madam Il told us that she would be busy in the inner sect today so you will not have any lesson with her…" one of them informed her.
Hyuna nodded her head and waves her hand.
"Thank you!" she replied.
As the three walked away, one of them suddenly said.
"Don't you think that this little junior of ours sounds like a little girl when he talks…"
The two looks at each other and then nodded their head when they look back at him.
"If we had not seen his chest muscles and have been with him for a while now, I would really think that he is a girl…" the other one commented then suddenly chuckled.
"Haha… I heard that he is popular with the female disciples…"
"Well, who would not be? She spends time with them almost every day… Sigh… What I would not give to be in his shoes…" the tallest of them commented.
Unknown to them, the figure of Il Kwan is stealthily standing atop a tree while watching the figure of his friend Wu Jin inside the old courtyard.
"See… I'm not the only one who thinks that he looks like a woman…" he muttered while patting his heart.
But his thick eye bags show that he has not slept well ever since he had seen such a wonderful thing in that bathroom.
His mind could not forget that beauty which he could not forget for some reason.
Though he is forcing his mind to think that his friend is a guy, his heart would always skips a beat whenever he would remember that beauty.
Even now that he is watching his friend Wu Jin from the trees, he could not help but watch closely at his pinkish lips, his long eyelashes, his cute nose, and…
Arrgghh!!!
Il Kwan suddenly growled as his imagination has already gotten the better of him.
He suddenly slams his head on the tree.
Hyuna who is walking to and fro was suddenly startled when she heard a growling sound and one of the tall trees outside her courtyard shaking.
She squinted as she tried to see what is happening.
But then she saw no one.
She then grumbled as walked inside the room.
Above the tree, Il Kwan peeked and saw that his friend has already entered the room. He could not help but grumble and then jumps down from the tree and disappear.
Not long later, the room door opened slightly.
Hyuna checked her surroundings and when she saw no one, she slowly opened it and walked out.
She is now wearing a brown leather coat and on her hip is a knife.
This is her usual outfit whenever she would sneak outside with Il Kwan.
Soon, her figure could be seen walking down a secret path that Il Kwan has shown her before, and she then arrives at a rocky maze.
Following the maze, she then arrives in front of a boulder. With one look, one could not find any path.
However, as she walks closer, she stopped and walked to the side and then disappears after entering a strange passage on the wall.
This place has a natural array formation that could beguile the mind.
Ever since coming to this place, she has already memorized the path even without Il Kwan guiding her.
10 minutes later, she has already arrived at the side of the mountain and below that mountain is the forest just outside of the sect.
This forest is where most of the sect's outer disciples would search for wild herbs and mushrooms. The sect has not cultivated the area for farming because, if they did so, then the natural balance of Qi in this space would be disturbed and the wild herbs and mushrooms would not be able to absorb abundant Qi.
While looking around the forest, she picks a destination and quickly walked towards it.
Unknown to her, a young man with a handsome appearance who is sitting at the ledge of a cliff near this place has discovered her presence.
He was just a bit shocked when he noticed a figure suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
As he scanned the petite-looking young man, he could not help but frown deeper as he noticed that the guy seems to be without strength or power.
"Is he… a mere mortal?" he muttered curiously.
As the figure of Hyuna enters the forest, the young man curiously jumps down the cliff and a flying sword suddenly appears and catches his falling figure.
Soon, he is secretly spying on the young man while curiously thinking of how a mere mortal could enter this place as if it is the back of his house.
"Who is this fellow?" he thought as suspicion appears on his face.
He lifted his hand and slowly takes out a dagger.
He did not know why but he felt a bit wary of the guy. What if this fellow is a spy from an evil sect and has infiltrated the Urokai sect to do something bad? He needs to be vigilant but also wants to see if this fellow is really part of the evil sect.
The petite young man suddenly stops as then walked towards a flat rock wall of a cliff about 300 meters away from the entrance of the forest.
While the young man is spying on her, Hyuna is currently busy scrutinizing the flat surface of the cliff wall.
"This might be a good place to test that… rune array..." she thought while looking around sneakily.
She did not know that her actions are all caught by the young man who is watching her secretly.
She carefully takes out a small chisel from the pouch hanging on her belt and then walked to the surface of that wall.
Without hesitation, she began to etch one unfinished rune after another.
As soon as she carves about ten runes, she suddenly stopped.
She could feel that something is wrong as she felt that someone or something is actually watching her in secret as she could not find the presence even though she tried to feel it.
When she felt such a thing, she suddenly thought that if that person saw the rune pattern, her secret might be exposed.
So without hesitation, she quickly changes the rune patterns and turns them into words.
After carving the words perfectly she showed a satisfied expression on her face.
But then she was suddenly alarmed as she heard some movement sound from the bushes.
She did not know what kind of creature is there, but she is not afraid.
Though she might be a weak mortal woman, she has already practiced martial arts. No matter what, she would not be easily defeated. That is what she is thinking as she grabs the knife behind her back.
Then all of a sudden the bushes moved.
