Like a gust of wind, Longwei surged toward Zhong Peng.
Alert to the sudden movement, Zhong Peng braced himself defensively, anticipating an attack.
However, to his surprise, Longwei instead coiled himself around Zhong Peng's right hand.
In a mystical display, a crimson tattoo of a dragon materialized on the back of Zhong Peng's hand.
The energy coursing through his veins was electrifying, empowering every muscle in his hand.
Zhong Peng felt invincible as if his right hand could shatter anything in its path.
The power of the dragon infused within him, granting him the strength and might of the mystic beast.
Zhong Peng concentrated all of his inner qi energy and unleashed it with a mighty punch from his right hand. As he struck forward, a crimson figure of a spiked gauntlet materialized around his fist. The gauntlet was a formidable sight to behold, exuding an aura of power and strength.
The force of his strike was unstoppable, shattering everything in its path with ease. The gauntlet smashed through obstacles, crushing them into dust without mercy.
The impact was so great that it reverberated for a while before subsiding. Zhong Peng stood triumphant, his right hand still ablaze with the power of the dragon.
Zhong Peng was exhausted after unleashing the powerful punch.
He had exerted a tremendous amount of qi energy to deliver that single strike. Despite his fatigue, he was immensely impressed with the outcome of the punch.
Like a child examining a new toy, Zhong Peng studied his right hand with great interest. The dragon tattoo was still there, shimmering with a bright crimson light. The sight of it filled him with satisfaction and pride.
He marveled at the immense power and destruction that a single punch of his hand had caused.
It was a testament to the might of the dragon that infused within him. Zhong Peng knew that he had unlocked a new level of strength, and he couldn't wait to see what other feats he could accomplish with his newfound power.
As Zhong Peng was still examining his right hand, Longwei suddenly appeared before him. Having melded into his right arm earlier, Longwei was now visible to Zhong Peng.
Longwei looked at Zhong Peng with a hint of disappointment in his voice as he spoke, "Hmmm, with your level of cultivation, you can only withstand using it to throw a single punch." Zhong Peng could sense Longwei's disappointment, but as he looked at the dragon's face, he could see a proud expression that betrayed his true feelings.
Zhong Peng knew that he still had much to learn and was determined to unlock the full potential of his newfound power. He bowed respectfully to Longwei and said, "I will continue to train and cultivate my strength until I can unleash the power of the dragon to its fullest extent."
With that, Longwei nodded in approval, his proud expression growing even more pronounced.
Zhong Peng knew that he had won the dragon's respect and that he would continue to guide him on his journey to become a true master of the dragon's power.
After conversing with Longwei Zhong, Peng headed towards the inn where he had previously lodged. Suddenly, he heard a voice calling out his name. He turned around to see an unfamiliar face approaching him.
Zhong Peng was taken aback as he had never met this person before, yet the stranger knew his name.
Zhong Peng stopped in his tracks and waited for the figure to draw nearer. Once the stranger was within earshot, Peng spoke up, asking, "May I know who you are and how you came to know my name?"
The man responded, " I was dispatched by Master Zhong Peng to deliver this to you." He then extended a folded piece of paper to Zhong Peng, who accepted it from him.
Without casting a glance at the contents of the paper, Zhong Peng asked the man, " May I inquire as to the nature of this note?"
"I do not dare to look at the contents of the note, for I am just a humble messenger, " the man replied with his head bowed.
Observing that the man was unaware of the contents of the note, Zhong Peng decided to excuse him.
As he watched the messenger fade into the distance, Zhong Peng's mind raced with various thoughts. He pondered Zhou Shun's motives for sending such a note, but he could not surmise the reason. Consequently, Zhong Peng resolved to look through the note upon his arrival at the inn to discover its contents.
Upon arriving at the inn, Zhong Peng did not rush to look through the note. Instead, he ordered a bowl of piping hot food and quickly devoured it.
After satisfying his hunger, he reclined on his bed and began to organize his thoughts. He strategized on how to navigate the upcoming contest, pondering through various scenarios and devising plans to ensure his success.
His thoughts ranged from combat tactics to survival techniques, and his mind raced with ideas.
After an hour or so of organizing his plans, Zhong Peng finally succumbed to his exhaustion and drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
He was utterly spent from the day's events and needed a good rest to regain his strength. As he slept, his subconscious mind worked tirelessly, processing and organizing the information he had accumulated so far.
