~~~~~ Ace's Mansion ~~~~~
In the living room, a glaring contest was busy happening between Lycan and Ace, the Dennison's had come to his mansion faster than he expected.
"Where is my sister? Why can't I see her anywhere around?" Lycan questioned in an accusing tone, his hands balled into a fist.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennison threw their son a scolding gaze, Mrs. Dennison had a little smile at the edge of her lips. She wanted to see her daughter soon, but she bottled up all her happiness.
"Young master Hawthorne, please don't be upset. Pardon my son for his insolence." Dennis pleaded on Lycan's behalf.
Ace turned his eyes towards Alix's Father his face expressionless, he was sitting like a king before his subject. His fingers which were busy clicking and tapping on the handle of his chair came to a halt.
"It's nothing Mr. Dennison, I forgive him for his insolence. There's absolutely no reason for you to worry." Ace muttered in a calm tone and Dennis nodded his head.
Dennis turned his gaze to his son scolding him through his eyes, he wondered what the foolish son of his was thinking to provoke the young master.
"What he....." Lycan couldn't finish his words of justification when Ace short him off.
"come here now." Ace mumbled to no one in particular, the Dennison family turned towards him wondering who he was busy talking to.
When Ace turned his attention toward a particular direction, their eyes followed too. "Come here Alix doesn't just stand there unless you want me to come to pick you up."
Ace uttered in a somewhat light tone, lighter than the tone he had previously used on the Dennison family.
Alix raised her eyes from where she was standing, she heard his words loud and clear but she was hesitant to go meet him.
She had no choice, so she slowly paddled her way into the living. She twirled her fingers in anticipation of seeing her parents, walking into the living room....
Alix couldn't contain her joy when she saw her mother and father, and brother sitting before Ace. Her eyes brimmed with unspeakable happiness, and her gloomy expression for the past few days was put at rest.
Jia couldn't contain her joy starting as her daughter. Tears drizzled down her cheeks unknown to her, "my dear Alix." She mouthed towards her daughter.
Dennis also had the same happiness in his heart and expression but he did well to contain his behavior before the Hawthorne young master. He smiled at his daughter passing across a message with his eyes.
Alix turned her eyes towards her big brother who had a pout on his lips, he smiled at her. Alix nodded her head at him in happiness, she truly missed her family a lot.
Ace gazed at the family reunion for some time before getting bored, he didn't want to ruin their happy family moment but the love and tears were starting to get to him too.
"Come and sit Alix." He mumbled in an ordering tone jolting the people out of their thoughts., his eyes turned towards the little lady. Alix quickly jolted out of her happiness when she heard her name, she twirled towards him and met with his cold eyes boring into hers.
She quickly walked towards him in slow steps, when Alix was close to Ace he pulled her and made her sit beside him. Lycan fumed in anger when Ace touched his sister, his overprotective mode was activated.
"Pardon my insolence and method of asking but I would like to marry Alix, I like her and she likes me too. We are ready to get married to one another." Ace stated his point without thinking twice about it.
"What?" The Dennison family gasped at his words, their eyes widened in surprise and amazement. They turned their full attention towards him wondering what he was busy mumbling about.
"You don't have to be surprised or amazed, I like your daughter and want to marry her the same way she likes me too. You can ask her if you want.." Ace trailed off pointing towards Alix.
Alix was no less shocked than her parents, her eyes widened in surprise and shock too. She has not expected him to say this so fast to her family, and not here either. Where was the rule that stated you go to the girl's family?
"I planned to come to talk to you about this but seeing as you are here it's an opportunity a perfect one, to tell you about this " Ace continued.

Somewhere in Country B, Terry burst into laughter. He couldn't hold himself anymore, his eyes teared up from his laughing so much.
"Typical Ace, he would even ask for a girl's hand in marriage like it is a business deal. Hahaha ha ha ha ha hahaha ha" Terry laughed and laughed to the point he couldn't stop laughing.
He felt so much fun laughing at the cold guy, "Rex remember when you proposed to his sister? He almost made your head fly off its position it was so funny, I wish you were awake to see this you would be so happy." Terry muttered to the sleeping man on the bed.
His gaze was filled with sorrow and pain, he stood up and walked towards the window to stare out of the room. "You know Rex, Ace misses you a lot. He doesn't say it but I know he does, after his sister's death. You became his pillar."
"Wake up Rex, we need you now. You need to dance at Ace's wedding and eat all you can, remember the way he sat solely at yours. You have to make sure he doesn't do the same in his wedding too." Terry muttered not turning to the sleeping man on the bed.
"I will leave now Rex, take some rest," Terry mumbled walking to the bed, he picked up his laptop and walked out of the room. After Terry walked out of the room, the man on the bed's lips curled into a devilish smirk. He was still unconscious but his body and mind were intact.
