Perseus POV

But just as things were going well, I sensed it, an absurd amount of power emerging from closeby, from a familiar direction.

"Heh." Lucifer snickered

"Satan..."

"Yeah, siphoning the energy of his cell into himself, and once he's done-"

A blast of dark energy came out of nowhere and crashed against the barrier before anyone could react. The barrier quivered and fractured, the sheer impact sending shockwaves rippling through and blowing past it.

Following the violent collision, the enclosure broke apart even more as it battled the flood of dark mana. Shadows emerged from the pandemonium, combining to create Satan's menacing shape, encased in a sinister veil of swirling darkness. Even though he was using the same weaker vessel as Lucifer, the power he was emitted now was tremendous and overwhelming.

The gravity and pressure were, to put it mildly, suffocating as Satan moved forward with a sinister gleam in his eyes and an air of overwhelming might due to his newly discovered strength.

"Lucifer," he said, "Can't believe that you actually kept them distracted this long."

"Thanks for keeping your end of the deal, doofus." Lucifer smiled as his body was enveloped in a dark cocoon, from which he emerged moments later, completely healed of all the cracks.

Tension flared in the air as Satan turned to face me, his eyes blazing with powerful dark magic.

"You thought you could contain me?" he said with this pissed-off expression

He cast a wave of darkness in my direction. Quickly responding, I channeled my own light energy to create a shield to stop the oncoming black wave from hitting me. I dodged, ducked, and weaved, trying to outmaneuver his dark tendrils. With a flick of my hand, I sent bursts of light his way, hoping to distract him.

Like, I don't get it, why is it always tendrils or some sort of weird tentacles, get creative!

With a smirk, Satan intensified his assault, shadows swirling faster around me. I leaped, twisted, and somersaulted, narrowly avoiding his dark tendrils snapping at my heels.

"Getting faster, huh?" I quipped, conjuring a blinding burst of light that forced him to shield his eyes momentarily as Dawn summoned another barrier once I signaled them to not interfere.

Satan's fury intensified, shadows swirling faster and darker around me. I pushed myself to the limits, summoning every ounce of my own energy to withstand his relentless barrage. I summon every ounce of strength I have, channeling it into my limbs. Light bursts forth to counter the surrounding darkness.

When separated, Satan no longer has the immunity to light. In the past, he was one with Lucifer, an unbreakable duo where darkness thrived, feeding off their unity. But now, they're severed. And with that separation comes vulnerability.

Lucifer was the balance, the counter to Satan's darkness. They complemented each other and canceled out each other's weaknesses. But alone...as light was once his counterpart, it's a weakness he didn't have to worry about before, but now it's his Achilles' heel. And I'm banking on that newfound vulnerability to level this playing field.

"To think that you can hold on for this long is impressive." Satan's eye turned to the others, "Are you sure you don't want any help?"

"Nah, cuz your powers will still resist me, I need to beat you into submission for it to work."

"Of course, that's why I know that we'll win."

"You'd win if you run away."

"No, because you'll still be after me, with Lucifer's speed, no one can ever chase us down if you no longer exist."

"Man, look, just come without resistance." I said while taking out my blade, "I have a super overpowered weapon that I don't want to have to use against you."

3rd Person POV

Satan was about to laugh, but something flew out of nowhere and pierced right through his wings. In Perseus' hands rested a celestial bow, its frame crafted from shimmering silver, adorned with intricate engravings depicting scenes of the sun's ascent. The bowstring, seemingly woven from threads of pure light, glowed softly, pulsating with an otherworldly energy.

During Perseus' first trip, he did possess a map of how to find this bow and gave it to Lilith, who rejected it since she preferred her own bow, after the other Perseus' advice, knowing Satan's weakness, he knew that he needed this bow and had Dawn used the gauntlet and go get it.

Even though Dawn can go without it, he lets her use it to reset the timer, just in case.

With practiced precision, another arrow streaked through the air, leaving a trail of light in its wake. Satan reacted swiftly, attempting to cloak himself in the shadows, but the arrow found its mark, striking him right through the other wing before he had any other chances of recovery.

"Shit...how could I not remember you having that stupid shit?!" Satan cursed

"There are limited things I can omit when you were created...and this was one of them." Perseus grinned

Perseus then released a barrage of arrows and with every strike, the force of the celestial arrows weakened Satan after every hit. His form flickered, his once menacing presence diminished under the onslaught of light.

The barrage continued, unyielding in its ferocity, as if the very heavens had conspired to bring about the downfall of the fallen entity. The relentless assault of celestial energy eroded the darkness that had cloaked Satan's essence, leaving him vulnerable and exposed.

"Lucifer, help!" Satan shouted, "We can't get out of here individually!"

"I know, we need new vessels." Lucifer grumbled as he cast a light barrier to block it.

Struggling to maintain his composure, Satan attempted to retaliate, but his efforts were feeble against the unrelenting barrage. The celestial arrows persisted, their radiant glow intensifying with each successive strike. Perseus alternates between dark flame arrows and light flame arrows to go against both of them, and it was very effective.

Jerah cast another layer of barrier atop Dawn as well to help Perseus as he needed Perseus' favor.

"Should have made plans against an overpowered bow, idiots." Perseus laughed
