Nicholas led the way through the dense jungle, his senses attuned to the surrounding mana. Lyle followed closely behind, his gaze flickering from side to side, alert for any signs of danger, his blood sensing active as he did his best to notice any monster that might come close to them.

As they ventured deeper into the jungle, the terrain became more challenging, with thick undergrowth and tangled vines hindering their progress, and even for them, two powerful Grand Knights, it wasn't that easy to pass through.

That was, of course, because not even the plants on the islands were normal. Because of the mana density, as well as the rich nutrients that were hidden below the ground, the plants that grew on the islands deeper in were tougher than normal.
