The region where the Iradel Empire together with the Golden Lion Empire and neighboring kingdoms was located was called Veridornia. It was one of the regions that had been explored and occupied later on, thus leading to many tribes settling there before forming cities and kingdoms.

Religion used to be a part of the region in the past, back when the settlers had first arrived. They had all come from kingdoms and empires, most of which worshipped one or more gods. They had come here to try their luck, to see if there was an opportunity for themselves and their families.

Later on, after more kingdoms had been created and the Iradel Empire and the Golden Lion Empire came to power, they decided to destroy the kingdoms that were deeply religious as they knew from experience how dangerous such kingdoms could be.
