Even the most powerful noble houses had 1 Titled Knight, and some rare ones had even 2, but the Rain family had more, not to mention that Elron himself was an incredibly powerful Titled Knight that could fight against more than 1 Titled Knight by himself.

The Rain family had been present in Orsvald for many decades, even before it was able to rise above the other noble houses and take control over it. For the last three decades, it was the undisputed ruler of the city and the one noble houses the others had to pay respect to, going against their orders was tantamount to suicide.
