The smell of wood felt like a warm hug to them. Yoon helped them settle into their new surroundings. Their accommodations had been paid for in full for a week's stay.

"I don't think I want to leave," Safira whispered into her mate's ear as she continued to admire the hall they were in.

Damien chuckled too as he looked around. The wolf part of him was on high alert. There were guests in this hotel that were no human or wolf. In fact, he didn't know what they were.

Some looked dangerous, others seemed docile but that could all be a facade. The wolf in him wanted to scout the perimeter to make sure his mate was safe. On the other hand, his gut feeling told him he had nothing to worry about.

"Starlight…Damien?"

Safira's voice brought him back to the present.

"You look like you were miles away," she mused with a smile.

Damien reached out to caress her cheek as he reassured her, "I was just… thinking about something."
