"I'm all ears!" She replied excitedly, keen to know what it might be.

He placed his hand on hers as his expression turned serious, "I don't want you to get your hopes up. It's… it's not going to be easy."

"I've been through the worst," she replied with confidence as she gripped his hand tightly, "I'm sure I can handle this."

Vincent sighed. Looking at the daughter he had just been reunited with, his heart ached. The moment he found out about Safira, he wanted to know everything about her.

He got Greyson to tell him everything.

He got Archer to tell him everything too.

When the healers examined her condition, they informed him of the scars on her body. Upon knowing how much she had suffered, Vincent couldn't sleep. If he had known of this sooner, he would have tracked Safira and Anna down.

But he had his reasons. There were things that prevented him from doing so. He had assumed they had gone on to lead a normal life. But clearly, he was terribly wrong.
