"Well, that was a good move." He smiled while staring at her panting figure.

"You just need to give some time for everything to be alright." 

"My fate was written thousands of years ago, princess. That man would never let anything change." Lucifer chuckled as he slowly moved the hair out of her face.

"Apart from being Lucifer, what else do you do?' She asked with the same smile.

"I run my pubs and have small businesses here and there." 

"So apart from your friend and Naomi, you do not have anyone here? I have never heard anything about your parents." She asked genuinely curious. 

Finding the Devil and punishing him seemed less important than getting to know the charming man in front of her. He seemed the most interesting person she ever came across.

"Hmm, I h-had adoptive parents. My adoptive father passed away a few years ago." He sighed while leaning back against the bench.
