She had prayed the problem wasn’t that bad, but it was beyond bad it was terrible. “Were…. Where is Elli” she looked around hoping she could see her sister too but she wasn’t in sight.

“She also left” the broken whisper that left her mother lips shattered her.

“What do you mean by she left? Did she go to the market since the servants are not around?”

“No madi” she saw a tear fall down from her eyes “Elli has been missing for some days now, she had ran away”

“What!” Madison didn’t think that her sister will simply abandon their family because of their financial condition; she knew her better to think so. “Why When?”

“She left before the bank gave us the notice to evacuate the house.”

She didn’t understand why Ellison will leave if she wasn’t aware they were going to be homeless, and as if seeing the confusion on her face her mother proffered her with an answer she didn’t want to hear.
