章節 14: Chapter 14 (extremophiles)
I thought, at first, that I should ask Pangary later when he is unoccupied to teach the haploidhumans, more about the soul to add to the uniqueness of the place, but considering he is still comprehending this complicated thought, maybe I should consider it at another time.
While observing that planet, I found something interesting the place I defeated the group of dinosaurs, has gotten itself a status close to a holy ground. After, I departed they have been starting studying how I made that super destructive lightning and they got the wrong idea that only using my wisdom was able to do this. So they theorize the existence of laws that are semi-physical concepts that are directly connected to reality, being right about it.
But then they got the idea that by comprehending these laws they could be able to reproduce what I did, finding out that they couldn't but, by comprehending the laws and connecting in a sort of spiritual way to them could control the part of the reality that was related to it.
And how much more they comprehend, the more precise their control of the part of nature becomes. For example, if there were a law user of water, his ability to control water would depend on his level of comprehension of it.
They usually gather around their sacred ground and meditate, just like a cultivation novel. Until now there were only law users of the lightning law, apparently for mortals to start at this new kind of power path, they need at least remnants of a law because they are not simply studying the subject, but metaphysically connecting their soul to it. So I use my will to spread a remnant of all the laws in their world.
I finally remembered that being a long time since I have not looked at the multiverse interface. Seems that I accomplished two obligatory objectives, create life and rational life. And a secondary objective that was ' create one or more gods to help with your universe administration'.
There was an item that I was tempted on buying a phoenix feature, or better the one from the original phoenix specie, the ones from the first universe do ever have a phoenix, and where the concept originated from.
What makes an original different is that it allows a creator to comprehend the concept that the thing was made easier. The others were simply other versions that were created based on the original to fit in different universes.
You may be asking why, so suddenly, I am so interested in phoenix. I think I should fill the planets out of the three planets, with rational life as well. Phoenix not only is a rational lifeform, but it shall be the first no-humanoid rational life in my universe. Besides being one of the feel affordable items related with an aspect connected with the soul.
Phoenix is a bird formed by hard flames. They are completely tamed flames that are as bright as normal ones, but are solid, and do not burn to the touch.
A senseless existence that only could exist because of a supernatural cause. The bird strangely resembles an enormous hummingbird with gradients of orange color, with proportionally bigger wings than the hummingbirds, the wing features have a darker gradient of tones of orange, while the rest of the body has a brighter gradient.
Though their eyes were different, they have a penetrating red tone. When they die their body turns into a normal flame that burns a bit and turns into dust. This dust has deep importance to their reincarnation. This dust is the materialization of their soul attachment, being set free. Although they may keep their last life memories, they did not keep the emotions associated with them.
As living flames given the form of a bird, they could easily bear and even thrive at extremely high temperatures. Their body resembles a god's true form quite a lot but is filled instead of divine energy, with an energy quite close to my universe's mana, which means I will not have to create their souls.
After analyzing the feature, I filled the first planet of the solar system with my version of them that uses mana. As they can basically rebirth, I did not turn them into demigods as I did not see the need of. But I made it so that every single of them knows from birth, how to form a magic pancreas.
Their diet will consist of anything with concentrated mana, from magical sulfuric acid to magical metals. Magical metal is rare there, and sulfuric acid, is very common, being basically water for them. There is something different from the original that I added to them, in their rebirth their body did not reforge, but they will rebirth as a child of other phoenixes as a baby.
It rains in the upper atmosphere, without reaching the surface, sulfuric acid, just like Venus. It might seem cruel to them, but these birds there were super extremophiles magical birds. As long as there is mana in it, sulfuric acid may taste like a delicious lemonade to them.
Their sense of taste and smell will be far apart from this realm of other species, and for sure their aesthetic taste as well, considering all the four mortal species that I made previously live on an earth-like planet their aesthetic will surely be vastly different from the others.
With this experience I learned that to create a figure that unites both soul and body, energy is the key, souls are not energy, but they come from energy at some point, and I guess that any type of supernatural energy can form a soul.
But how to model something as complicated as a rational soul from a supernatural energy? I have no idea yet. Maybe with more study of this type of lifeform, I can unravel more knowledge about souls. So let's create other types of rational species that fuse both body and soul. Phoenix can rebirth themselves so there's not much problem.
But how will the reincarnation of this other species of the same type work? I think I should put a sort of teleporter inside of them, that automatically after they die will teleport them into the reincarnation realm, as their body is also their soul it will work exactly as the other souls do. I could teleport them to the river of souls and energy, but it seems to me as only an unnecessary step.
On the ninth planet of the solar system, I added a specie that I named the timers. They have translucent gray bodies, with the shades varying by individual. They don't have an appendix, coccyx, and so on... On their forehead, they have three glass-looking points, that are organized making them seem like the mathematical symbol of, therefore.
They have on their left or right leg, above the heel, three spots in the skin, that look like infinity symbol embroidered heel bracelets. Using mana they can look into the past freely, except if a more powerful being like a god actively blocks their vision, and they can look into some of the possibilities of the future, though only random fragments and it spends a lot more mana. They can also manipulate space fabric a bit and teleport.
I think I feel more comfortable creating humanoid species and I think that my aspect, which seems to have an anthropocentric touch, makes it much easier to make species like that. So I created another specie like that and put it on the seventh planet of the solar system. I called them Medus because they were inspired by the medusa myth.
They have snake hair like medusa, but their hair is quite tamed, the snakes do not have a conscience of their own, but they can be controlled like an extra limb, and the colors of their snake's hair's scales may vary from medus to medus, all the snakes have poison, but the poison has a very mild effect in the owner and another medus, the worst it could do is giving them mild nausea.
They will not have the curse of turning people into stone with their appearance being quite the handsome humanoid specie in fact. I decided to make a contrast with the myth, medusa is a monster, which usually is associated with evil in myths and legends, so I gave them magic light powers because the light is several times associated with good.
The timers and medus both are as extremophiles as the phoenixes, but have it easier to survive in extremely low temperatures, like the ones of their native planet, and sustain themselves with mana. I also gave them the knowledge of how to have a magical pancreas The phoenixes, timers, and medus, all have low fertility, so it will take a long while for them to fill up their whole planet.
I am excited to witness all these species will achieve in the future.
