章節 19: Chapter 19: The Hunted

Chase spent several days in the manor with Morgan. The first day he’d been exhausted from being surrounded by so many people, choosing to sleep since he wasn't scheduled to do anything.

Morgan had checked on him the second day to see how he was fairing so he could determine his new schedule.

Chase was rather tired when he received it but he was thankful nonetheless, he wasn't used to having so much free time that didn't stress him out and he wasn't sure how to handle it. Having free time wasn't as scary as it used to be but finding things to fill it was hard.

Chase looked over his schedule when Morgan handed it to him, happy to find he was working with Simon the next day. He wanted a word with the healer, he suspected he might be right about Morgan and he didn't know how he felt about it.

On one hand, the idea of Morgan fancying him back (yes, he could admit he liked Morgan) was exciting and on the other hand, having someone like him that he liked back was a terrifying notion.
