After three long hours, the party slowly inched toward the end. It was not until after their dance that she realized it was a birthday party for one of Veron's business associates.

Apart from the uncomfortable dance and the argument between Veron and Lincoln, she actually did enjoy the rest of the program. The MC was a lively and funny guy, and she laughed at some of his jokes.

But since she wasn't used to this type of gathering, she kind of got bored eventually and was impatiently waiting for the end.

"When are we leaving?" She whispered to Veron, who was seated beside her, looking ahead.

"Ten minutes. Why? Tired already?"

"Kind of. And I need to use the restroom." Karina informed him.

Veron beckoned on one of the ladies serving drinks and whispered something to her ears. When the lady nodded, he turned to Karina.

"Go with her. She will show you the way."

Karina walked a step behind the lady and soon they got to their destination.
