章節 3: Chapter 1: Memory and Confusion

In summary, Anakin understood that the birthplace of the child named Cedric Diggory, whom he, for some reason, was now observing all his life, was going through a period of darkness and conflict due to the growing rise to power of this "You-Know-Who" or "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named," who was an extremely powerful dark wizard seeking to impose his vision of wizarding supremacy over non-magical folks, Muggles, and establish a dominance of pure-blood wizards.

This powerful dark wizard, whom even others were afraid to speak his name along with his followers, promoted the ideology of magical supremacy by carrying out attacks and violent acts that the wizarding community resisted through the efforts of the Ministry of Magic, its Aurors, and other brave individuals.

But, according to Barbara Diggory, despite the growing threat, the Aurors, who are responsible for enforcing magical law, fought valiantly, they had no chances of winning or even truly controlling the situation.

And to make matters worse, some of these Death Eaters probably managed to infiltrate various magical institutions, including the Ministry of Magic where Cedric's father worked, allowing them to control, exert influence, create mistrust, and concern everyone who opposed them.

Moreover, although Ced and his parents were pure-blood wizards, they actively supported the Ministry of Magic, so they were seen as opponents of these dark wizards, putting them all in danger.

Yes, Anakin had to admit that the situation was quite complex, but nothing new for him, all worlds in the galaxy went through conflicts like this.

...

Now, let's move on to the most impressive experience Anakin had in this vivid dream he was having.

It was October 30, 1981, which is the chronological system used on this planet Earth.

On this day, the child, Cedric Diggory, turned 4 years old, and it was this day that his frustration exploded like never before, causing him to show signs of magic for the first time...

Now, Anakin also experienced this as if it were happening to him personally and felt... well, it's hard to describe, but it was undoubtedly something incredibly amazing and wonderful for him.

The sun was setting on the horizon, and the sky took on golden and reddish tones reflecting deep calm.

Cedric, now 4 years old, sat in his room, sad and angry because his parents had not been present all day on his birthday.

His father, as always, had to go to the Ministry of Magic to do many things very early that day, and his mother had even gone earlier than Amos to China on a very important business trip for the Diggorys.

But none of that mattered to Cedric, as they had completely forgotten his birthday, leaving him alone with his paternal grandmother.

And although the boy loved his grandmother very much, he couldn't help but be extremely frustrated at not having spent a single moment with his parents on his birthday.

Naturally, his grandmother tried to console him and make him forget about these things by giving him many gifts, but this only entertained him for a while.

But when night fell, and his birthday was coming to an end, Cedric couldn't help but notice that his parents still hadn't returned, and he couldn't take it anymore.

In anger, he locked himself in his room to cry and shouted at his grandmother not to enter because he wanted to be alone.

It was then that a strange tingling ran through his skin...

Anakin, who experienced this, felt as if a strange energy was surrounding him and whispering around him... waiting to be discovered and used by him.

'What's happening?'

Yes, that was the only thing Anakin could ask himself, while Cedric, in his state of frustration, didn't pay much attention to what he was causing.

Anakin's thoughts circled as he watched the candles in Cedric's room flicker erratically, as if they too felt the excitement in the air.

Without warning, a pair of books on a small desk began to levitate in the air on their own, suspended as if defying gravity.

Anakin felt Cedric's heart beating faster and his breath quickening with each movement of his body.

In Cedric's tantrum, Anakin observed perfectly how with each movement of his body, the books and candles seemed to respond.

The fire in the candles increased to the point where the scorching heat could be felt, and the books spun in the air, dancing around Cedric.

The sheer feeling of what Cedric was causing was like ecstasy for Anakin...

He even shivered with excitement; it was like a spark igniting a flame of astonishment and happiness. The connection he felt with this energy was incredible, like a unique bond.

As the night progressed and the stars began to illuminate the sky, Cedric's grandmother felt and noticed something strange, and this was why she abruptly entered her grandson's room, making him startle, which instantly caused the candles in the room to return to their natural state and all the books around them to fall rapidly.

A torrent of questions and possibilities flooded Cedric's grandmother's mind, but Anakin noticed that as she stared at the situation, she already knew what had happened.

...

It wasn't until the night of the following day after his birthday that both Amos and Barbara Diggory had returned to the Vorsiliu Mansion where Amos's mother, Septima Diggory, lived after her husband, Aurelius Diggory, passed away.

Yes, Septima Diggory, Amos Diggory's mother, was the sole heir to the ancient and noble Vorsiliu House of Greece. When she married Aurelius Diggory, everything became part of the Diggory family, but after her husband's death, she decided to leave the Diggory Mansion to her son Amos and return to Greece to live in the old Mansion where she was born and spent her youth.

Anyway, when Cedric's parents finally returned to the Mansion, Cedric was happy, excited, and eagerly awaiting their attention.

Yes, although he was still angry with them for forgetting his birthday, Cedric was clearly expecting them to say something.

Even Cedric's grandmother seemed to be planning to remind Amos and Barbara about Cedric's previous birthday and inform them about yesterday's events.

But before Cedric's parents could even speak to their son or grandmother, an owl with an urgent letter from the Ministry of Magic arrived and captured all their attention.

After quickly reading the letter, both Amos and Barbara looked at each other with wide eyes, extremely surprised. It was obvious from their expressions that something incredibly important had happened.

A mix of positive emotions surrounded both of them, but even so, they wasted no time; they handed the letter to their grandmother and, for some reason, quickly left Cedric alone with his grandmother, again.

Cedric's grandmother was completely confused because she didn't understand why both of them left without saying anything more; it was not typical of them to behave like this.

But when she read the letter, she instantly understood everything and couldn't help but feel the same as them.

Yes, it was great news.

But little Cedric didn't understand the reason, and in anger, he went to his room again. Of course, his grandmother tried to explain the situation to the boy in a way that he could understand, but Cedric didn't listen to reason and became even more upset.

Nonetheless, his grandmother continued trying to make him understand, but he didn't bother to listen to anything she said. All Anakin grasped was that apparently, the dark wizard who was terrorizing Cedric's birthplace had been defeated in some way, and now, finally, the Ministry of Magic had discovered this and was regaining power and the confidence of the entire magical community by spreading the news.

And his parents had been urgently summoned to help the British Ministry of Magic.

...

After a few minutes, Cedric's grandmother finally gave up and decided to let the boy release his anger on his own. She came to the conclusion that it would be best for Cedric's parents to sort this out when they returned.

It didn't take much longer for everything in the surroundings to suddenly turn completely dark for Anakin. He could no longer see Cedric's life or the white room. Everything was pitch black.

Until Anakin felt a definite and very strange tension throughout his being.

And this was because Anakin Skywalker was merging with Cedric Diggory.

Naturally, Qui-Gon Jinn was the only one who could witness this.

Currently, both Anakin and Cedric were like two translucent spheres merging or absorbing each other until they blended completely and formed a single sphere again.

In this process, Anakin felt that all of Cedric's memories that he had just seen in a lucid dream were now his own reality. He lived every moment clearly, experiencing it personally, merging both of their lives entirely.

And when the two spheres merged and formed a new one, Anakin Skywalker found himself in Cedric Diggory's body.

But the reality was that he was no longer Anakin Skywalker; he was now a combination of Cedric and Anakin.

It wasn't until the morning of the following day that Anakin/Cedric woke up.
