章節 15: A Worthy Battle!
That Night, Before the Second day of the Tournament.
Me and the others left Leon's dorm to head to ours.
So we bid goodbyes as we went to our separated dorms.
Kiba and I headed towards our dorm room and rested.
That night I could not sleep properly...
Kiba snored loudly and kept on mumbling words as he slept, While I could not sleep thinking about something I've forgotten.
'Hey millis, I can't seem to remember what I've forgotten.'
"Question, What did you forget?"
'I don't know, that's why I'm asking you.'

'What do you mean I see!?'

"Answer, Yes. So you should use your skills carefully, If you get consumed by power, You'll end up like Nazaroth. The Previous owner of Creation Skill."
'Who's Nazaroth? And Why previous Owner? Does that mean this skill can be passed down?'
"Answer, Yes. WORLD SKILLS are Unique and Original, There's only One of each of the WORLD SKILLS."
'Oh, Tell me more so that I would know. And who's the Previous Owner? That Nazaroth you mentioned.'

'Demon continent huh? Can you tell me where is it located?'

'A war? So you're saying he died by himself? And was not killed at war?'

Then I fell asleep, The Second day of the Tournament finally came.
The Students were gathered early at the Academy Field, Filled with excitement.
After some time, The Principal along with the Teachers came and went to the Stage.
The Principal then announced the Second day of the Combat Duo Tournament, and shuffled the teams.
Then Instructor Michael came forward and started telling us the Match line up for the Sector B.
Me and Hailey were Team 7, So we'll be facing Team 8 after the first teams fight.
The first match was declared and announced by Instructor Michael.
'Hey Lulu, You nervous right? Haha!' As Kiba said.
'What do you mean nervous? Haha, I feel excited.' As I replied.
'Don't try to hide it, I know you're feeling nervous right now. Don't wet your pants okay? Hahahaha!' As Kiba's tried to annoy me.
'Don't worry luna, I got your back. Hehe' As Hailey grabbed my shoulders.
'Thanks, Hailey. I feel calm now.' I replied.
"Now, The first match will start! Team 1 and Team 2 Get inside the Arena!" As the Commentator spoke with excitement.
The Students started screaming again like yesterday.
Team 1: Rachel Ming, An Elf Sword Combatant. She had good posture, Beautiful looks, Blonde hair and composed expression.
Her Partner, Dina Ashburn, An Intermediate Stage Mana user. She was pretty good looking, Had nice body and had a serious expression.
'Hey, Ryan? That Dina? Is she your relative or something?' As I asked.
'She's his twin sister. Haha! They don't look alike right!? Haha!' As Leon mocked Ryan.
'Yeah, She's my Twin sister. But she goes to the Mana class.' As Ryan Said.
'Oh, I see.'
Team 2: Derrick mayers, A Dwarf Sword Combatant that looked like more of a grown up rather than a kid. He had a very big and muscular body and a mature face.
His Partner, Cliff Slycock a human Beginner Stage mana user. He had black hair, Sharp eyes and nose, and had a professional expression.
"Look! It's our boy The Cunning Penis!"
"Shut up bro! He might hear you! HAHAHA!"
As the students laughed and mocked Cliff for his surname.
'Slycock! HAHA! Which household would make a surname like that! Hahaha!' As Leon laughed.
'If I had that Surname I'll be sure to prevent spreading my genes! Haha!' As Kiba Mocked Cliff.
Ryan and the others started laughing, I also laughed hard after hearing his surname.
"YOU BASTARDS! STOP LAUGHING AT MY SURNAME! IT'S PRONOUNCED AS SLAY COCK!" As Cliff angrily yelled at the students around.
"He said it's Slay Cock! Hahaha!"
"Hahahaha! So they Slay penises!"
"GO FOR IT PENIS SLAYER! WAHAHA!"
"Hahahaha! I'm dying man! Please stop!"
As the Students laughed so hard after hearing what Cliff said.
Me and the others laughed out loud, I could not stop from laughing after hearing Cliff.
Even the Principal and teachers laughed, They've lost their composure.
After several minutes, The students were silenced by the Principal so that the Match could start.
"Now, Let the first match Begin!" As the Commentator announced.
Rachel immediately rushed towards Derrick who was infront of her, Cliff immediately used Earth spell and tried to subdue Rachel's movements. But Dina was providing Wind spells to boost Rachel's movements.
As Rachel got close, Derrick prepared a stance and swung his sword at Rachel.
But Dina casted Earth spell and made a Wall infront of Derrick. His sword got stuck at Wall that Dina made, Cliff on the other hand Shot fireballs at Rachel who was about to attack Derrick.
Rachel noticed the incoming fireballs and blocked it by attacking the fireballs by her sword.
The Crowd got wild as the fierce battle occured.
Derrick then got his sword out from the wall, but his feet was totally binded by Dina's Earth spell.
Rachel saw an opening at Derrick when he looked at his feet for a second, But before she could attack him. A wind spell casted by Cliff blow her off and was sent back near towards Dina.
"The match is crazy! This two teams are not giving their enemies a chance to attack! What strong defense!" As the commentator screamed with excitement.
I was stunned seeing their fight, It was a battle unlike the first day.
The students screamed and cheered for both teams that were giving it their all.
Cliff who was mocked earlier was now being showered with praises as he shows off his Talent in Magic.
The two teams then regained their positions back and calmly stood still as they waited for an opening.
Rachel then rushed again towards Derrick, Derrick felt that they would do the same trick so he used a feint attack, Dina casted a Wall again. But it was different now, It was much smaller than before.
Rachel then jumped at the wall and passed through Derrick, While Cliff used Wind spells to blow off Rachel again.
But Dina managed to use Earth bind and subdued Derrick's movements after doing the feint attack and immediately used a defensive Wind spell to protect Rachel.
The teachers were fascinated by Dina's performance, while the students shouted Dina's name all over the arena.
The Spell that Cliff used didn't work, Rachel landed at the ground and ran towards Cliff to attack him.
Derrick finally got out of the Earth bind and tried to follow Rachel who was going for Cliff. But before Derrick could turn around, A huge fire ball came towards him and tried to react but it was already too late to block it.
Rachel finally reached Cliff and Slashed him, Cliff who panicked after Rachel got infront of him in an instant didn't manage to cast any spells and got taken out.
While Derrick who got hit by that huge fireball was also taken out.
As the Explosion Occured, A smoke covered the Entire Arena. Both Derrick and Cliff has been taken down at the same time.
The Crowd got wild as they jumped out of excitement.
The teachers and the Principal Applaud for their Astonishing performance.
"What a wonderful combination! Team 2 Wins!" As the Commentator praised them.
I was shocked on how they could fight like that, Seeing them move like that was shocking, It was like seeing two veterans that fought alongside countless of battles.
Hailey and the others were totally in awe as they saw that magnificent performance team 2 showed.
"Hey Ryan! Damn your sister is so good!" As Kiba said with dazzling eyes.
'Yeah, She was really good. Why isn't she one of the Geniuses in Mana class?! How could they forget Dina!' As Leon demanded for justice.
'I feel ashamed for calling myself a Genius now. Haha!' As Hailey covered her face and laughed awkwardly.
As I stood in awe, While Dina and Rachel bowed at the Arena. I got really excited and also learned that there are so many people here that are in a different level than me. If I didn't have my unique skills, I'll be a punching bag for them.
But I guess I should give it my all, To know my true potential without relying much on my Skills Like them, who doesn't have any World skills.
I also admired Rachel. Her keen senses were outstanding, Blocking those fireballs with her sword in an instant was super amazing. Her fast reflexes without the help of being an awakened was really good.
I guess, being unawakened doesn't define your limitations in this world where magic feels absolute.
After that, Other teams fought, Students were going crazy as they cheered for the fighters.
Teachers also praised the teams that fought with all they've got, And it was already our turn next to fight.
We were called to wait, after team 5 and team 6's battle ends. Our opponent was Team 8 who was also waiting at the other side of the arena.
'Hey Luna! Hailey! Give it your all okay! We'll be cheering for you!' As Leon smiled.
'Yeah, Show them what you've got!' As Kiba yelled.
'Win Okay!?' As Ryan said.
Annie on the other hand gave us a thumbs up along with a smile as we waited at the side of the arena.
Their partners, also cheered for us.
"Out!"
"Team 6 wins!" As the Commentator shouted.
The crowd kept cheering, as team 6 waved at the crowd. After that, they all left the arena.
And it was finally our turn to fight.
"Announcing the Next match! Team 7 versus Team 8! Teams, Make your way towards the Arena!" As the commentator yelled with excitement.
"Now, What will this guys show us today!? Let's all wait and Find out!" As the Commentator hyped the crowds.
The Students cheered for us and team 8 as well, I could hear my name being shouted by Leon.
After several minutes, the students finally calmed.
"Now, Let the Match Begin!" As the Principal declared our battle.
'Let's do this Hailey!'
'Yeah luna, Let's go all out!'
