章節 24: CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

“Hey, wake up.” I say gently shaking Marlon to wake up.

He stirs a few seconds before opening his eyes to meet mine and he smiles instantly. For the first time ever since I met Marlon I could see why girls were crazy about him. He was very handsome; he didn’t need to wear expensive clothes or pose to look good.

He looked gorgeous even when he was sleeping.

“Sorry I am late.” I apologize.

“No, it’s alright. School can do this sometimes. There is always that one lecturer who thinks his lecture is of utmost importance.” He says slightly chuckling.

I felt way worse because I didn’t correct him instead I nodded lying to his face that what kept me so long was my lecture.

“We can just watch at least one movie before you go.” I say hoping he would agree.

“I am sorry l can’t I have an assignment I want to finish up. We can do this tomorrow.” He asks and I nod.

“Goodnight. See you tomorrow.” I say and he exits the apartment.
