They all follow the Northern Alpha out the front door, and Selene knows exactly who he’s referring to as her grandfather shifts into his wolf. She does the same, happy to see Frank and Twitch approaching them from down the busy street.

“Silver Wolf!” Twitch yells while jumping happily. “We found your mate,” he says while running up to her.

“I know, Twitch. You did really well,” Selene says while patting him on the head. “Did you get your steak yet?” she asks.

Twitch looks down at the ground and huffs. “No, not yet. We had to run to the North and then back to the South,” he replies while looking to the left and then the right.

“I’ll talk with our cook,” Selene whispers to him. “I’m sure she will whip you up whatever steak you want.”

Twitch pops up onto all fours and hops around as Frank reaches the group.

“How was the trip?” Lucas asks as the tired-looking shifter sits down in front of him and bows his head.
