章節 4: Chapter 4 Awakening

Viserys' gaze fell upon his daughter, who had remained in this state since the funeral. He turned to the helpless maesters, his voice filled with worry and frustration. "What has happened to her? Why won't she wake up? You assured me that she only needed rest, yet it has been over days, yet she remains unconscious."

His voice grew louder with anger, his heart weighed down by the burden of his losses. "First my wife, then my son, and now my daughter. One by one, my family slips away, while you all stand here, incapable of taking action... Nothing!" His words echoed through the chamber, a testament to his anguish.

The maesters, their faces etched with sorrow, honestly addressed their king. "Your grace, we are perplexed. There are no signs of illness, weakness, or poisoning. In fact, her body seems to be growing stronger, healthier, and filled with vitality. It is a puzzling situation, and treating her without knowing her real cause of fainting could worsen her condition and endanger the Princess life."

Viserys' anger flared up, surpassing all reason, as his desperation took hold. "I have no desire to listen to any justifications! I demand that my daughter be brought back to life, awakened, by any means necessary. If any harm were to come to her..." His words faded away, leaving an unspoken threat hanging in the air.

As Viserys stormed out of the room, the maesters continued their examination, meticulously documenting the princess's symptoms and engaging in a discussion about potential treatments for her uncertain future.

They deliberated on the possibility of utilizing magic, seeking advice from the Citadel's most knowledgeable sorcerers. Some proposed seeking assistance from the Red Priests, renowned for their ability to bring back the deceased. Others suggested delving into ancient texts and scrolls, hoping to uncover a forgotten remedy or spell that could awaken Valarissa from her slumber.

Days turned into weeks, yet Valarissa remained unresponsive. The maesters tirelessly conducted research, consulting with healers from all corners of the Seven Kingdoms, desperately searching for a solution. They conducted experiments with various potions and elixirs, closely monitoring the princess's vital signs and reactions. However, every attempt proved fruitless, leaving them increasingly disheartened and frustrated.

In the depths of the night, after the maesters and others had left the room, leaving only a few maids to attend to the sleeping Princess, Valarissa's eyes slowly opened. The darkness surrounded her, obscuring her vision, while faint whispers reached her ears. The air carried the scent of dust and ashes, and beneath her, she could feel the hardness of the ground. It was a familiar sensation, one that reminded her of home.

With a weary groan, Valarissa shifted her gaze towards the window, where the moon hung low in the sky, casting its ethereal glow upon the land. Pushing herself up, she began to pace, finding solace in the rhythmic movement. Her eyes briefly glanced at the two sleeping maids by her side, their presence a comforting reminder of her current reality.

Running a hand through her long, silver locks, Valarissa's mind wandered to the memories that haunted her. The funeral, her mother's untimely demise, and the anguish that had consumed her. Yet, amidst the pain, she also carried the weight of her past life's knowledge and her newfound abilities as Laila, a modern-day inhabitant of bluestar, It was a peculiar amalgamation of identities, a merging of worlds that left her feeling like an outsider in her own skin.

"I cannot help but wonder if the gods themselves conspire against me, denying me the chance to save my mother in this second life," she murmured in frustration, her voice barely above a whisper.

Valarissa Targaryen, now bearing the integration of two distinct sets of memories, felt the weight of her uniqueness more than ever. Her surroundings were both unfamiliar and strangely familiar, as if she had always known this keep, this sword, and the ancient language of dragons. And yet, alongside these ancient memories, she possessed the knowledge that she had mastered from her time as Liala from Modern-day bluestar, while limited by this world's backwardness the knowledge was a priceless one.

It was a peculiar blend of information from day to day information to the knowledge of various compact and weapons skills and the knowledge she accumulated during her compulsorly education while seems simple if used wisely could be her greatest asset and above all this the information of this world acquired from a show known as House of the Dragon, while not the complete picture let him know general future trend.

But it was this knowledge that both fascinated and frustrated her, for she knew that with it came the potential to change the course of history, to alter the fate of her family and her people.

But as Valarissa paced the chamber, her mind filled with thoughts of her past and the possibilities of her future, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The darkness that surrounded her seemed to whisper secrets, secrets that she was not yet ready to uncover. She knew that her unique position, in this medival era and being the younger sister of Rhaenyra Targaryen, had made her a target for those who sought power and control. And in this world of political intrigue and treachery, she had to be cautious.

As the moonlight bathed the room in its soft glow, Valarissa made a decision. She would embrace her past, her present, and her future. She would use her knowledge and abilities to navigate the treacherous waters of this medieval world, to protect her family and her people.

As she emerged from the chamber, a guard stood before her, his expression one of surprise. "Princess, you're awake?" he exclaimed.

"Lower your voice, Sir Cedric" she cammanded with quitely.

"I require a moment to stroll, and you must remain silent" Valarissa instructed, her tone hushed.

"Princess, I implore you to reconsider. Allow the maester to examine you before venturing outside the keep and it too cold outside" the guard pleaded respectfully.

"There is no need for that. I am perfectly well, and it is my command that you remain here while I take a walk," Valarissa ordered firmly, striding away.
