Chapter 23: Across the Line
Andrew Fray POV:
The car pulled up to the airport terminal. I looked out the window and thought about the last time I had been here. More importantly, I was thinking about what I should have done differently last time.
“Thank you for driving me,” I said, turning to the driver’s seat where Zach sat.
“It’s no problem, Andrew,” he assured me. He gave me another unfitting serious face. “You’re sure this is what you want to do?”
All I could do was scowl at him. “First you were complaining that I was moping because Holly was gone. Then you complain that I was angry that Holly was gone. Now I’m going to do something about Holly being gone and you’re still complaining?”
“It’s not complaining,” Zach replied. “It’s just concern. This is a rushed decision on your part, Andrew.”
