From the expression on his face, he seemed very hurt.

When he saw his father's bitter and aggrieved expression, Wang Mang almost burst out laughing, but successfully held himself back.

Otherwise, he would really be in trouble.

However, what made him happy was that his father had become much younger, and so had his mother and grandmother. 

His grandmother exhibited the most obvious changes, as her white hair had turned black. It seemed that the heavenly treasures he had given his father had been put to good use.

Seeing his family healthy and fine made Wang Mang feel much more at ease.

At this moment, Wang Mang remembered that when he came earlier, his father seemed to be furious about something.

Thus, he asked, "Dad, why were you so angry just now?"
