章節 93: Afterword
As always, thank you for having stuck to the very end. Thank you for commenting, liking, reviewing, or silently watching this book grow to its completion. This book's idea had been a constant since I had watched and then read the series Overlord and now, I was finally able to realize it. Like with all my books, besides the joy it brought me to write them, I see the flaws, have regrets, and distaste for a few things. It's far from perfect, but I still generally liked to write about it.
This book in particular had been a weird one since it just started so, I could practice writing some smut scenes. In that regard, Overlord being rich in S-tier waifus was an easy foot in the door, even though I had an obvious favorite, paling against even those "OCs" I had written into the story. Honestly, bringing them in had been one of my regrets and I couldn't tell you what I had been thinking at that point as they didn't bring that much to the story to justify their inclusion, I probably had a second tab open with sfm or nhe in the url…
Also, when this story progressed halfway, I grew more and more distant from the smut itself. There was so much of it and it had been an inseparable and integral part of the story (as it was planned). However, I realized after I reread some parts when it came to the smut, I usually skipped it.
Kind of sucks when you write something that you didn't care about and it's arguably the core of the story. It was also one of the reasons, it turned somewhat heavier story-wise as it went on, which honestly were my favorite things to write about. Lore, interactions with Ainz and Demiurge, (also Albedo being cute).
Of course, that doesn't mean I hated the lewds, but they are only to be enjoyed in the moment. At least for me and it's for all those and more reasons that I had decided to end it here.
For those that don't know, with this novel, I have written 2 Dragon Ball, now an Overlord Fanfiction, and an original work. Unsurprisingly, (at least for me) I have another Dragon Ball Fic already in mind. However! It's not going to be one next.
The next one will be an insert into a cultivation/book insert/somewhat RSM world with a heavy focus on the martial arts side. At least, that is the idea that is currently brewing up. You will see me posting soon about it.
There are also other books I have been planning for a while now, which I might do in parallel. Let's see if I don't get overworked at my job, I might post it soonish as well.
Anyways, enough blabbering. Thank you again for reading. Despite the negatives I had brought forth in this Afterword, it had been a much appreciative journey. I learned a lot and had fun writing it.
