"Hey!" The vampiress' harsh voice cut through Sabrina's wandering thoughts and the woman had to blink a couple times before refocusing. "You look like you just saw a ghost Sabrina, is everything good?"

Another few blinks and then a shake of the head later, the seraphim's far-away look finally managed to snap back to reality

"Yes, well, I'm good enough. There are some distractions back in the grand duchy, but it's nothing worth worrying over. Not like we could do anything anyways."

Valentina gave her a long look, her crimson eyes so intense it felt like they could bore a hole through the woman. Finally though, she nodded.
