章節 101: Desperate times and desperate measures

It was clear that the necromancer had all but given up. She wasn't attempting to cast, nor was she even trying to leave the pool of molten gold she now knelt on. Instead she just watched as Valentina got coated and consumed by her trump card. 'Shroud of Resonant Madrigals' was a spell she had created long ago when she was still a relative youth back in the Theocracy, and it was the spell she created in the case she ever felt the need to take someone with her to the grave. 

As a necromancer, she had far more control over her soul than an average person and, despite being raised in the Theocracy, she never cared much for her afterlife. Due to her aspect that interacted with damned and lost souls, she had become jaded to the idea of herself moving on while leaving these suffering souls behind, and for that reason she had no qualms for using her own soul as fuel for her trump card.
