章節 60: Leshy
Between Dahlia and the leshy there now stood Bessie, Lilli, one person covered head to toe in armour, a woman with similar armour and weapons to Lilli likely making her a fellow paladin, and then a man with no weapons or armour (or hardly clothing for that matter) whose body was so massive he looked like a boulder. Looking at them, though Dahlia only was familiar with two, it was clear that all five were skilled fighters in their own right.
Frankly, any one of them alone would have likely been able to take down the monster in front of them given time. Perhaps for some cases they would need to pair up to take it down, but Dahlia figured so long as they were as strong as Bessie, they ought to be fine.

AngelAsphodel Yay chapter 60! It's not really an important number, just a multiple of ten, so I like it!
This chapter once again mostly got to show off Lilli and Valentina's absurd abilities. I don't really hear these concerns meantioned in comments but I feel like I need to address powerscaling (I feel like I did a bit before, but I'll bring it up again).
Try to think of powerscaling in this novel similar to cultivation novels if you are familiar with them. the number of people within different realms of power are a fair bit different from your standard cultivation novel but the gist is, those at different levels of power tend to vastly overwhelm those at lower realms. Fighting those at a higher realm and succeeding is possible but very difficult, while those multiple realms above are close to insurmountable.
I decided to write this with realms that are not as clearly defined so it allows for more versaility when writing, but I just can't help but feel a concern that Valentina and Lilli's strength will make them appear as Mary Sues. That certainly isn't my intention though and, while they both certainly are powerful I want to just reinforce that they aren't in fact omnipotent, nor can they always be there for those who are weaker like Dahlia.
It's my hope that soon (once there is a combat that isn't against something terrifying) I can finally highlight Dahlia's own fighting style as well as all the strategies she'll need to employ as she fights against those who ought to outclass her. It should be fun and hopefully happen soon!
