A soft smile fluttered onto her lips as she turned around to see Ryuu standing in the courtyard door. His hands were tucked into the pockets of his green swim trunks, and he wore a black cut-off t-shirt. The sun glinted off his white-blonde hair the same way the moon had, making it appear silver in some areas. As she walked back towards him, she noticed that his eyes were taking her in, running up and down her body.

When she halted in front of him, he trailed a finger slightly down her neck. “You’re looking a bit pink. How long have you been out here?”

“Not long. Maybe five minutes, at most,” Jayde sighed, slightly disgruntled about being a vampire, and shrugged. “Mr. Crea said as I came fully into my vampiric self that some things will probably get harder. With how sensitive I’ve always been to the sun, it’s probably gonna get really bad being in the sun before it gets any better.”
