章節 10: Chapter 10: The First Night Together

“What?!” I gasp. “We can’t!”

“Why not?” he asks, looking over at me with raised eyebrows. “There is only one bed, we do not have any other choice.”

“It’s improper for people to sleep together who aren’t…well, together,” I try to explain.

Dominik stares at me. “But we are together, are we not?”

“I…we’re not…” I struggle to find my words. My heart is beating too quickly for me to focus, and it only becomes worse when he reaches for the hem of his shirt and begins to pull it up. I cover my eyes, blocking the sight of his toned stomach, and say, “It’s just not something people do normally!”

“What would you have me do, then?” he asks. I can hear him moving around the room, and the creak of the mattress as he sits down.

“Aren't there any other rooms we can stay in? Something with two beds?” I plead.

“No,” he bluntly states. “As far as I am aware, all the rooms look like this one.”
