Gemma lay on her bed staring at the ceiling, she has been crying for hours and she felt exhausted. The alarm clock on her nightstand read; 12:30 am, she reached for her phone and texted her brother Mateo.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" He replied almost immediately.

"I should ask you the same. I can't sleep, can you come and get me?" Gemma replied.

"Why? Did something happen? Did he hurt you? Are you all right?"

"Please come and get me, I feel like I'm going to die if I don't leave this place. Please come get me."

"I'm on my way."
