章節 64: Wedding Night

The drive from their wedding reception back to Miguel's place was a silent one. He didn't say a word to her and neither did she say any to him. The only sound in the car came from the radio which Gemma had turned on when the silence began to grate on her nerves. 

When they arrived at his place Miguel helped to carry her bag inside. Gemma didn't pack all of her things. She had left some of her belongings at her parent's house because she wanted to have some things she could return to if she ever decided to leave Miguel and wasn't able to take her belongings with her.

"If you need anything, do let me know," Miguel said to her as placed her bag in her bedroom. 

"The door, which side is it locked from?" Gemma asked referring to the door that connected her bedroom to Miguel's room. 

"It's not locked but you can lock it from your end," Miguel said. 

Miguel smiled shaking him as Gemma immediately went and locked the door.
