She pressed her lips together, swallowing hard, and then, as she turned away, he materialized in front of her, took a step towards her, and she unconsciously moved back.

"Where?"

"I am going to see Katherine."

"What will you do if you see her?" Cyrus asked. "And why are you in such a hurry? It's not that she is dead?" 

"Why are you opposed to me seeing her?"

"I am not against you seeing her arrogant parrot, but now isn't the time."

Sage squinted at him. "Why didn't you tell me?" 

"Is it really that important? She was being controlled, and so were you," Cyrus spoke bluntly.

Sage took a deep breath. "I still want to see her." She insisted, because what was the big deal about her simply going to see her friend?! She wasn't even a stranger to him!
