Ferdinand was reminded that with Winter coming, Arabella must have felt cold so the windows were shut tight. But when he was with her in bed, the temperature rose, especially with the thick sheets.

'I guess she did not push me away because she was angry at me or anything,' Ferdinand sighed in relief. He opened a window to let fresh air in and help Arabella cool down.

Of course, he badly needed it too. He simply could never get used to seeing his wife naked.

He folded her used clothes neatly and was tempted to use them for something else since her scent and sweat were still on them.
