章節 3: Chapter 3: Regret (Part3)
"Damn it!!" I quickly get back on my legs and stand in front of Gwen to try and protect her from Kevin. He then with no hesitation swings his right hook trying to knock me down. I dodge his incoming hook and instantly retaliate with my own. "Of course it hurts, you're covered in a layer of rock…yay me"
I then try and use the Omnitrix again but to no avail. 'Still recharging, I got to think of something quick, or else it's over.' "All right" I grab some of the rubble on the ground and throw it at Kevin. In the split second when he's blinded, I position myself with my back to the crater that I found Gwen in. 'If I can have him rush me and dodge at the right time, he'll fall back which would buy me some time to think of my next move'
I then start taunting him "Come on you sack of rocks, some mind control and you become a trashy fighter. No wonder the plumbers don't want you anywhere near them. You disgrace of a son."
It seems whatever shred of Kevin was left in him even in his current form lost it and got furious after I mentioned his dad which caused him to rush at me. I then at the right moment jumped out of the way causing him to fall straight into the crater.
'Now that I have some time let me go grab Gw-'Suddenly I was knocked down by something and fell straight to the ground. The moment I try and focus my blurry vision I see Charmcaster walking towards me with a smile and right behind her was hex also smirking knowingly, hinting at my loss.
"How…. you lost consciousness" Hex then stood right in front of me and said, "You thought you beat me with that bizarre combination? Heh honestly although I was impressed, my niece used our mental link to tell me that she beat your friends and we then proceeded to give you some false sense of hope to see how you would react to your friend's betrayal and your cousin's imminent death"
"WAIT…. death? No, you can't be planning on-"Charmcaster then cut me off "Come on Ben, you shouldn't be surprised, you already knew that my goal from the beginning was to kill your cousin" My eyes widened in contemplation before it clicked…. 'that's right, that's always been her goal'.
She then walked up to Gwen's injured body and proceeded to stab her with a purple knife made from her magic straight to her heart. "GWEN….NOOOOOOO, please this can't be happening" I was then hit with a feeling of helplessness and self-loathing, but most prominently anger. I WAS PISSED….
The Omnitrix then flashed signaling its recharge. "You're going to pay DEARLY for what you've done" I then shuffle through my playlist until I found the alien I wanted. "Way Big, IM GOING TO KILL YOUUU"
I then started stepping on them constantly, then proceeded to punch the ground until the area we were in was reduced to dust. Then for good measure, I put my hands in an X shape and fired my beam to the ground.
I then proceeded to transform back out of fatigue, and I lost consciousness…
