章節 64: 64. I Can Take Care Of Myself

Mauve sat in front of the dresser as Mill brushed her hair. She closed her eyes as she concentrated on the sensation and how relieving it felt for someone else to brush her hair.

"I don't know if it is any consolation and I know it isn't my place to say but Vae was pretty sad about leaving you here by yourself. She came to me and told me to take care of you." Mill said as she brushed her hair.

"I see," Mauve replied. "I can take care of myself, fine. Thank you. You need not worry." 

"Yes, of course."

By the hurried way, Mill had responded Mauve realized the words had sounded harsher than she intended but she didn't have the energy to try to make amends. The fact that Vae could freely talk to a vampire she just met, slightly pissed her off.

"Did she tell why she left?" Mauve asked after some minutes passed.

Mill shook her head, "Nothing specific, only that her job here is done."
