Sakaganagi smiled until he left the room.
When Ayanokoji was gone he wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. "Phew, it's always so nerve racking talking to sensei."
He chuckled.
Syl nodded. "I know what you mean, I feel the same way around your daughter."
Kiyotaka looked confused.
Sakayanagi smiled. "He's talking about my daughter Arisu."
Kiyotaka nodded.
Syl chuckled and flopped back on the couch. "She's so smug! It makes me feel like she's reading my mind!"
"That's an amusing statement coming from you. You are impeccable at reading others." Sakayanagi said with a smile.
Syl chuckled and sat back up. "What do you mean? I'm just a regular kid!"
Sakayanagi had a knowing smile on his face.
Syl's eyebrow twitched. "I don't like that look. What are you hiding?"
Sakayanagi smiled. "Do you truly not know? It seems your friend has figured it out."
Syl looked at Kiyotaka.
Then he sighed. "Bah! Whatever, it's not important if you're not telling me."
Sakayanagi then turned to Kiyotaka. "How are you enjoying the school?"
"I've learned a lot by coming here." Kiyotaka lamented.
Sakayanagi laughed. "I doubt we could teach you anything with our education. Your father used to praise you all the time, stating that he was teaching you the proper way."
Kiyotaka nodded. "Is it true? What that man said about the entrance exams."
Sakayanagi smiled and nodded. "You could score a 0 or 100 on the exams and you would only be admitted if you had a recommendation first. Unfortunately I can't say anymore due to school policies, but you can be assured that this school nurtures students in the best ways possible to succeed in the real world."
Kiyotaka nodded. "I see."
Syl suddenly stood up. "No way…"
Sakayanagi turned to him with a smile. "Did you figure something out?"
Syl laughed dryly. "That's not possible, right?"
Sakayanagi smiled. "I don't think it's appropriate for you two to stay in this room anymore. If you learn too much, it would be unfair for the other students."
Syl nodded and left absentmindedly with Kiyotaka in tow.
Chabashira was anxiously waiting outside.
"How did it go?" She asked the duo.
Syl was still deep in thought.
Kiyotaka responded in place. "It was fine."
"What did your father say?"
"I know you lied. You threatened me with his name but he never contacted you." Kiyotaka replied. "You shouldn't have tried to use me, sensei."
Chabashira froze when she heard this and the duo continued walking, leaving her behind.
"That was a big mistake…" Chabashira said solemnly.
Syl returned straight to his room, skipping classes the rest of the day.
The next day Syl and Ayanokoji showed up to school like nothing had ever happened. A few people asked them what was going on but they just avoided the questions or lied to appease their curiosity.
When Syl was in class he had started noticing Kei was looking back at Ayanokoji often. Syl smiled and decided to interfere a little.
He gifted Ayanokoji an item. (Emotional amplification) [Romantic love].
This wouldn't do anything like give people fake emotions or anything, but it could amplify what was already there. That way, Syl could give Ayanokoji a chance at finding love.
Syl smiled to himself and decided to forget about yesterday. It really didn't matter anyway.
After class that day a couple class A students entered the classroom.
Everyone was nervous other than Koenji who just got up and walked away.
The class A students followed him.
Syl thought this would be interesting so he followed as well.
Eventually Koenji was surrounded by a few class A students as well as Ryuuen.
At this point Sakayanagi and a few class C students showed up behind her. They walked slowly to match her pace.
Syl shrugged and followed suit.
He ran over to class C and joined in the little line they had going.
He smiled and waved at Hashimoto who was in line beside him.
Sakayanagi glanced back at him to see what he was doing and smirked.
'He looks like a dog, just like the rest of them.' She thought
Syl saw her smug face and couldn't help but think she was looking down on him again.
He suddenly had the urge to yell. 'I'm lord of the flies!!'...
Anyway!
Koenji didn't even look up from his mirror. "Are you here to admire my perfection as well?"
Ryuuen laughed and kicked a pebble at Koenji. "You self obsessed bastard. I have a few questions for you."
"Fufufu. You should play nice Dragon-boy. It's quite rude to kick things at others." Sakayanagi said as she stepped forward.
Syl nodded from behind her.
Umu umu.
Ryuuen lunged at Sakayanagi. "I don't like that name."
The class C students were a little slow to react so Syl jumped out and scoped Sakayanagi up in a princess carry before sliding on the ground behind Ryuuen as he missed.
Syl had a pure smile on his face and set Sakayanagi down. "Excuse me." He said.
She chuckled. "No worries. You saved me."
Syl chuckled. "Anything of a lady in need!"
He turned back to Ryuuen. "Captain! I can't believe you! Do you think Luffy would ever hit a womaaaaaa… nevermind."
A couple people who knew one piece chuckled.
Syl cleared his throat. "I mean! It's bad to hit women!"
"Kukukuku. I seem to recall you throwing a rock at one before."
"Nono! That was a bitch! Not a woman! Completely different!" Syl countered.
"Fufufu. Throwing a rock at a girl? What a scary man you are."
Syl shook his head. "Nono, we just went over this. Not a woman! A bitch! Very big difference!"
Ryuuen laughed. "Kukuku. I think women deserve equal rights… AND LEFTS!" He charged at Sakayanagi again with his hand raised in a fist.
Syl jumped in front of Ryuuen and 'tripped'. He fell in front of Ryuuen who tripped over him and the duo tumbled in a ball together into the tree.
Syl landed on the floor with Ryuuen on top of him face to face.
"Ah! A lucky pervert moment!" Hashimoto called out.
Syl chuckled as he pushed Ryuuen off of him.
'I had my moment with best girl!' Syl thought.
