"Xiaoyu."
Su Nianen watched as Wen Xiaoyu drank it all in one gulp. She could only sit back down passively.
Song Beian glanced at Wen Xiaoyu indifferently. No one could see his displeasure, as most of them thought that Song Beian should thank Wen Xiaoyu for helping him keep Su Nien.
Song Beian didn't say much after that. Other than the wine, his gaze fell only on Su Nianen.
Due to Song Beian's bad mood, everyone stopped playing as heartily. At one in the morning, everyone said that they were leaving.
Su Nianen quickly got up and walked in front with her jacket.
She finally understood herself today. She was not meant to come to these sorts of places to play, and she still could not let go.
Perhaps she had been hidden away for too long. The moment she was free, she didn't know where her destination should be.
"En."
Song Beian strode over and caught up with her easily.
"I'll drive you."
"You've been drinking."
"There's a chauffeur," he said.
"Rich," Su Nianen replied calmly.
Song Beian stopped in his tracks and tilted his head. He actually did not know if she was teasing him, complimenting him, or… disdaining him.
Song Beian strode forward again and walked beside Su Nianen.
Su Nianen thought that it sure was good to have long legs. He could easily catch up to her.
"Did you drive here?" Song Beian asked.
"No car," Su Nianen said.
"Perfect. I'll give you a ride." Song Beian's tone immediately perked up. "En, give me a chance to be a gentleman?"
Su Nianen did not respond, so Song Beian continued to persuade her.
"En. Look at how late it is, it's dangerous to take a taxi. I'll drive you. It's decided."
Su Nianen stopped a car by the roadside. Song Beian stopped trying to persuade her and stood beside her.
After saying goodbye to her friends, Wen Xiaoyu quickly walked towards Su Nianen.
"Nianen."
As she walked closer, the first person she looked at was Song Beian. After meeting Song Beian's eyes, she called out, "Young Master Song, let me send her off."
Su Nianen felt that she was the one who was out of touch.
"No, there's a taxi."
She quickly got into the taxi, but Song Beian strode forward and squeezed in as well.
Su Nianen turned with a shocked expression.
"Send this lady home first, then send me home," Song Beian said.
The chauffeur glanced at the backseat and the car started moving.
Su Nianen was a little speechless. Song Beian said to himself, "Last time, I brought you along. You can bring me along this time."
Su Nianen moved to the side. The space in the car was originally fine, but once Song Beian squeezed in, it became narrow.
She glanced sideways. Song Beian had nowhere to place his long legs. They were ridiculously stuck together. It was not appropriate to spread them on both sides, so he could only bend down.
"It must be hard on you to sit in this car like this, Young Master Song."
Her teasing made Song Beian instantly happy.
"No, no, not at all. With you by my side, no matter how bitter it is, it's still sweet."
Su Nianen couldn't explain where his friendliness came from, and she didn't want to think too much. It was best to speak less.
When the car arrived at the hotel, Su Nianen got out of the car, followed by Song Beian.
"En, why are you staying in a hotel?"
"I don't have a house," Su Nianen answered simply.
Song Beian was stunned. "This couldn't be… an invitation, could it?"
He looked at her happily, but Su Nianen pretended not to see it.
"You should know that I'm married, right?" Su Nianen asked. "Is it appropriate to make such a joke?"
"I know. You beat up your ex-husband at the bar. I'll wait for you to regain your freedom."
Song Beian and Su Nianen looked at each other. Su Nianen was a little disgusted by his attitude.
"Do I look like such a casual person to you?"
Song Beian was confused. Su Nianen continued, "We're not in the same world. I won't play with you. Go find some other beautiful lady."
