Cheers erupted across the stadium as Vorph and I stepped onto the arena, the barrier forming around us as we took our places and waited for the match to begin.

"This is still hard to wrap my head around, the fact that all these humans are cheering for us like this, with no real animosity, it's so strange," She remarked with a bemused look on her face.

"Yes, now that you mention it, it is certainly something that I'd never have dreamed of experiencing not so long ago. That's all well and good, but more importantly, it's been quite some time since you and I last sparred...I'm quite looking forward to this," I replied with a smile, a sense of anticipation welling up inside me.
