The air is shimmering violently, the air scorchingly hot, it felt like I was inside a furnace. I can barely breathe, every breath feels like it's burning my throat and lungs. Sweat was pouring down my face and body, the entire area lit up in a fiery, pale blue. 

Blue flames, a truly rare sight...the Plasma Dragon King, Izzy's mother, is one of the only creatures in the entire world capable of creating these flames. There are a couple of other Demon Grade Monsters that can use it too, and Izzy herself, of course. 

Blue flames are said to burn hotter and more fiercely than normal flames, and are also much, much harder to extinguish. You can't just douse it with a bucket of water, most of the water would evaporate before it could even touch the flames.
