“Home.” Kon kept his focus on the door. “Where else did you expect me to return to?” He gritted his teeth.

“Why?” Osy rose from the chair he was sitting on and faced Kon. “Do you think I brought you here to watch you leave?”

“Why else did you bring me here? I'm not your property any more, Osy. I've repaid my debts with my body like you wanted.” He kept his face turned, to prevent Osy from seeing the raw emotions in them. “What else do you want from me? It has been five years since we last saw each other. You have likely moved on.”

“Yeah. I have.”

“What?” Kon turned, shocked by Osy's words.

“I've moved on by searching for you for years. Hell, I came here because Scorpion caught your trail. And here you are, acting like a self-righteous boy. This has always been your way, Kon. You act like I'm not worthy of you. And I know I'm not, but what about Toto? Do you know the pains she had to go through, separated from her mum when she needed him the most?”
