You smoothed your shirt as Peggy paced the small office, you and her shared. "You like him." You noted, "No!" You nodded, "You really like him. Is it the good boy act or the White Knight saving you that's getting you swooning?"
"I am not swooning." Peggy paused in her pacing to cement her point with you, coupled with her sharp English accent. "Not like you swooning over, Barnes." You grinned happily, before tipping your head back allowing your hair to tumble over your shoulders in its careful curls. You straightened and shrugged your shoulders. "So, I swoon over Bucky. What's your point? He's a good person, nothing like all the rumours that are going around." Peggy turned and pointed her papers at you, "I never said he wasn't." There was a rap at the door, it opened to show a young enlisted man. "Colonel Phillips, needs you both, in the hanger." You swung your feet gracefully in their heels and landed light as a dancer onto the floor. You straightened your clothing, Peggy straightened her own, before both of you walked towards the hanger.
You stood leaning against the plane that was to take Bucky and Steve along with a few other Howling Commandoes. Bucky spotted you, he excused himself from the conversation he was involved in. He sauntered over to you, grinning with an impish glint in his eye. "Hey, doll." Bucky attempted to lean against the plane and promptly slipped, his arm's pinwheeled, he managed to regain his balance. Your lips were twitching with the effort of keeping them in a relatively small smile. Your lips kept folding over themselves to stop your laughter from bubbling over. Some of the Howling Commandoes, were howling with laughter and recreating the moment Bucky slipped. You giggled, and Bucky turned so he was on his side and carefully placing his arm on the plane, leaning into you. He brushed his finger down you nose, "Keep laughing, doll." You sniggered, "As long as you're around, I will." Leaning in closer, he carefully brushed his lips against yours and following Steve's call pushed himself off the plane and tugged you with him. He climbed in, leaning out the hanger and kissed you deeply, gently pulling you up by the back your neck.
You sighed and walked over to Peggy, who was watching Steve with a longing look. "You should kiss him, finally tell him how you feel." You nodded sagely and Peggy looked over at you and nodded determinately. She stalked over to where Steve was talking with Colonel Phillips. Steve began to walk over to the plane. Peggy called, Steve turned, and Peggy grabbed him by the back of neck and kissed him. Steve paused for a few seconds, before kissing Peggy back. Steve looked dazed, confused and surprised by Peggy's recent action, she was now stalking back to you with a satisfied look on her face. Steve turned to Colonel Phillips, he looked up from the clipboard he was holding and with a sarcastic deadpan tone, told the super soldier.
